초·중·고 학부모와 학교의 소통 실태 및 활성화 방안 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 초·중·고 학부모의 학부모-학교 소통 실태 파악 및 활성화 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 학부모 학교참여 시범학교 중 7개교(초등3개, 중등3개, 고등1개) 학부모 730명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 54.2%의 학부모가 학부모-교사 면대면 상담에 참여하였으며, 초등 학교, 읍면지역, 비취업모의 참여율이 높았다. 45.3%의 학부모가 비대면 상담에 참여 하였으며, 초등학교, 읍면지역 학부모의 참여율이 높았다. 둘째, 면대면 상담에 대해 참여 학부모의 74.2%가, 비대면 상담에 대해 학부모의 68.8%가 만족하였다. 또한 학부모-학교 소통을 통해 53.9%의 학부모가 자녀의 학교생활 이해에, 42.9%의 학부모가 학교 및 교사 이해에 도움을 받았다고 응답하였다. 셋째, 학부모-학교 활성화를 위해 년 2회, 각 25분 정도의 면대면 상담을 희망하였고, 학교 및 학생생활 관련 정보를 우선적으로 제공받고자 하였으며, 전화나 문자, 유인물 방식으로 교육정보를 제공받고자 하였다. 이 연구는 초·중·고 학부모-학교 소통 연구의 기초자료로서 학부모-학교 소통의 실태를 점검하고, 활성화 방안을 제시했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to understand the actual condition of the communication between school and parents by parents of elementary, middle, and high school student and to explore the measures to activate it. In order to achieve this goal, we carried out a survey on 730 school parents from 7 schools (3 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, and 1 high school) among the schools which participated in the model school project for parent involvement sponsored by Ministry of Education. The main results of this study are as follows. First, 54.2% of 730 respondents answered that they participated in the face to face consultation during the past year. Also, participation rates of the activities were higher in elementary, rural area and non-working mother. 45.3% of 730 respondents answered that they participated in the consultation without face to face during the past year. Also, participation rates of the activities were higher in elementary, rural area mother. Second, 74.2% who had experience of participation were satisfied with the face to face consultation, and 68.8% who had experience of participation were satisfied with the consultation without face to face. 53.9% who had experience of participation thought their participation contributed to the understanding their own children, and 42.9% who had experience of participation thought their participation contributed to the understanding school and teachers. Third, for activating the communication between school and parents, the school parents suggested face to face consultation two times a year for twenty five minutes, and wanted above all the information about school life by telephone, text message service and prints. This study is significant in that it examines the actual condition of the communication between school and parents as base data for the study, and suggests proposals for further activation.
