사회복지에 대한 인식이 기초연금 수급에 대한 인식에 미치는 영향: 정부복지정책 확대를 매개효과로

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 사회복지의 인식과 정부 복지정책 확대 그리고 기초연금 수급의 인식의 관계를 규명하여 기초연금 수급에 대한 인식의 특성을 새롭게 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 정부 복지정책 확대가 독립변인인 사회복지의 인식과 종속변인인 기초연금 수급의 인식에서 어떠한 과정과 기제(mechanism)로 매개변수의 역할을 하는지 알아보았다. 본 연구를 실증적으로 검증하기 위하여 표집대상을 서울 S대학교 330명에게 연구자가 직접 설문지를 배포하고 수거하여 결측치를 제외한 총 317명을 토대로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 정부 복지정책 확대가 사회복지의 인식과 기초연금의 인식을 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 사회복지의 인식이 높을수록, 정부 복지정책 확대를 지지할수록 기초연금수급의 인식이 높아진 것으로 나타났다. 이런 결과를 바탕으로 현재의 기초연금 수급의 인식을 높일 수 있는 방안을 논의하였다. 또한 본 연구는 기초연금 제도의 인식의 후속연구에 기여할것이라 판단된다.

영문 초록

The study aims to analyze the awareness of supply and demand of basic pension by investigating the relationship among the awareness of social welfare, the expansion of the government policy on the welfare and the awareness of social welfare. When it comes to the awareness of social welfare: independent variable and the awareness of supply and demand of basic pension: dependent variable, the study involved to investigate the roles of the expansion of the government’s welfare as a mediator. To verify the study based on the statistics, the researchers distributed the questionnaires to 330 students at S university in Seoul. 317 questionnaires were collected and analyzed. It is revealed that the expansion of the government’s welfare is related to the awareness of social welfare and the recognition of basic pension. In other words, “the more the respondents were aware of the social welfare and the stronger they suppor the expansion of the government’s welfare, the higher the awareness of supply and demand of the basic pension was shown. Based on the result, the researchers discussed how to increase the awareness of the current pension system. This study is also expected to contribute to the subsequent study of the perception of the basic pension system.
