초등예비교사들의 창의적 통합영어 수업실연 모색

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등예비교사들의 창의적 통합 영어수업실연 모색에 있다. 2009 개정교육과정에 서는 바람직한 인재 상으로 기초적인 능력을 기반으로 하여 새롭고 참신한 발상과 도전으로 창의적인 생각과 능력을 발휘하는 사람이라 명시하고 있으며, 창의적 인재가 갖추어야할 특성으로는 창의적 사고와 창의적 성향을 갖춘 인재를 추구한다. 이에 초등영어교과에서 의사소통 능력 향상이라는 교과목표는 영어교육을 통해 이러한 창의적 사고력을 함양할 것을 제안하고 있으며 이러한 요소들은 언어의 네 기능 간 통합과 타 교과목 간의 통합된 내용에서 실현시킬 수 있다고 본다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 초등예비교사 58명을 대상으로 기존의 영어수업 내용과 연계하여 과학교과, 도덕교과, 미술교과 등의 타 교과목 간 통합과 언어의 네 기능 간 통합을 시도함으로써 지금까지의 영어 수업과는 차별화된 창의적 수업실연을 하도록 지도하였다. 이를 통해 학생들이 수업의 준비 단계에서부터 이전보다 더 창의적이고 다양한 주제 및 자료 수집과 협동학습을 구현하였으며 실제적인 의사소통 능력 신장을 목적으로 한 통합 영어수업실연을 모색하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the application of creative integration-based English micro-teaching for pre-service elementary school teachers. In order to achieve this purpose, the notion of creativity and integration in the elementary school English education were reviewed. Creativity in education has become an important issue within school education in Korea and can be based on cognitive and affective domain. Integration-based English education focuses at helping students improve not only in the four skills of English; listening, speaking, reading, writing , but also in cross-subject integration; art, math science, music and etc.. This study uses a questionnaire and 58 English education students are participated for the data. In this paper, English micro-teaching is integrated with science, ethics and art subjects and they used the books for their English micro-teaching lesson. Based on the results of this paper, we can showed that the creativity education in English class is important and integration-based micro-teaching is more creative and more interesting than traditional teaching methods for pre-service elementary school teachers.
