베트남 유학생의 자기결정성 학습동기 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 국내 대학의 한국어 교육 기관에 유학 중인 베트남 유학생들을 대상으로 자기결정성 학습 동기 유형을 관찰하여 시사점을 고찰해 보고자 하였다. 연구 참여자는 한국어 연수과정에 참여하고 있는 베트남 유학생 110명이며 이들은 한국의 대학 진학을 목표로 한국어를 학습하고 있었으며 대부분 자비 유학생이었다. 학습자들의 성별은 남학생 55명, 여학생 55명이며, 연령대는 20대 초반이다. 그리고 한국어 숙달도는 초급단계 69명, 중급단계 37명, 고급단계 4명으로 조사되었다. 연구 결과 베트남 유학생의 학습 동기 유형별 측정값은 확인된 조절이 가장 높게 나타났다. 그 다음으로는 내적 조절, 통합된 조절, 부과된 조절, 외적 조절, 무동기의 순서로 나타났다. 이는 베트남 유학생들의 학습 동기가 내재적으로 동기화되어 있음을 보여주는 결과이다. 또한 확인된 조절의 수치가 높게 나타났는데 베트남 유학생들은 한국에서의 대학 생활에 높은 흥미와 즐거움을 가지고 있다고 볼 수 있 으며, 한국어 학습의 목표가 학습자 개인에게 어떠한 의미가 있으며, 얼마나 중요한지를 잘 알고 있다는 것을 보여준다. 그리고 무동기의 수치가 가장 낮게 나타났다는 것은 베트남 유학생들에게 한국어 학습 동기가 강하게 작용한 결과로 해석할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the implications of self - determination learning motivation patterns for Vietnamese students studying at Korean educational institutions in domestic universities. The study participants were 110 Vietnamese international students who participated in the Korean language training course, and they were studying Korean language for the purpose of university admission in Korea. The gender of the learners is 55 boys and 55 girls, and the age is in their early 20s. And the Korean proficiency test was conducted for 69 elementary students, 37 intermediate students, and 4 advanced students. The results showed that the confirmed identified regulation was the highest among Vietnamese students learning motivational types. Followed by intrinsic regulation, integrated regulation, introjected regulation, external regulation, and amotivation. This shows that the learning motivation of Vietnamese international students is intrinsically synchronized. In addition, the level of verified control was high, and Vietnamese students showed high interest and enjoyment in college life in Korea, and showed that the goal of Korean language learning is meaningful to learners and know how important it is. And the lowest level of motivation is understood as a result of strong motivation of learning Korean language to Vietnamese students.
