적응유연성이 중도입국청소년의 긍정적 정신건강에 미치는 영향에 있어서 문화적응스트레스의 조절효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 적응유연성과 문화적응스트레스가 중도입국청소년들의 정신건강에 어떠한 영향을 미치고 있는지를 확인하고, 적응유연성이 정신건강에 미치는 영향에 있어서 문화적응스트레스가 조절효과를 나타내고 있는지를 확인하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해서 경기도 지역의 레인보우스쿨, 예비학교 및 다문화 예비학교에 다니는 만9-20세의 청소년 123명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 측정도구는 정신건강 척도중 긍정적 정신건강인 정신적 웰빙의 16문항만을 골라 사용하였고, 적응유연성(11문항)과 문화적응스트레스의 척도(11문항)를 사용하였다. 분석은 SPSS 21.0을 사용하여 기술통계, 상관분석, 신뢰도 분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였고, 문화적응스트레스의 조절효과를 분석하였다. 그 결과 적응유연성이 높을수록, 문화적응스트레스의 수준은 낮을수록 긍정적 정신건강의 수준을 높아짐을 볼 수 있었다. 또한 적응유연성이 긍정적 정신건강에 미치는 영향에 있어서 문화적응스트레스의 조절효과를 통계적으로 유의미하게 확인하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out how resilience and acculturative stress affect positive mental health of immigrant youth and whether acculturative stress has the moderating effect on the impact of resilience for the positive mental health. The subjects of the research were composed of 123 immigrant youths aged from 9 to 20, who are attending Rainbow School, a preparatory school and a multicultural preparatory school. The following were used as assessment instruments: 16 mental well-being questionnaires of positive mental health chosen from the mental health scale, the resilience scale (11 questionnaires), and the acculturative stress scale (11 questionnaires). SPSS 21.0 was used for descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, reliability analysis, and hierarchical analysis and also to analyze the moderating effect of acculturative stress. From the result, it was observed that higher resilience and lower acculturative stress increased the level of mental health. Also the moderating effect of acculturative stress on the impact of resilience on positive mental health was observed to be statistically significant.
