초등 예비교사의 수업역량 잠재프로파일 유형과 영향 변인

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 초등 예비교사의 수업역량 대한 다양한 잠재프로파일과 영향 변인 간 관계를 살펴보기 위해 수행되었다. 방법 이를 위해 전국 교육대학교에 재학 중인 4학년 예비교사 총 537명 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 통하여 수집한 자료를 바탕으로 잠재프로파일 분석(Latent Profile Analysis: LPA)을 적용하였다. 특히 잠재프로파일의 수를 결정하기 위하여 IC 지수, Entropy, LMR_LRT와 BLRT의 유의도 등을 활용하였다. 결과 LPA 적용결과, 잠재프로파일은 최종 5개가 가장 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 구체적으로 수업역량을 구성하는 모든 하위 요인의 수준이 평균 이상으로 가장 높은 수업역량-고집단(26.8%), 수업성찰 및 비평, 수업분위기조성 및 수업운영 요인이 우수한 수업운영-고집단(6.7%), 모든 하위 요인이 평균 수준인 수업역량-중집단(45.1%), 하위 요인이 모두 중간 이하 수준인 수업역량-저집단(18.9%), 모든 하위 요인이 최저 수준인 수업역량-최저집단(3.2%)이 나타났다. 또한 잠재프로파일 분류에 영향을 미치는 변인을 검증한 결과 교사신념, 협동역량이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구는 초등 예비교사의 수업역량에 따른 다양한 이질적인 하위 잠재프로파일이 존재함을 파악하고, 잠재집단 분류에 있어서 개인 내적, 전문적 특성이 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 보다 통합적으로 살펴보았다는 점에서 실증적 함의점이 있다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점이 논의되었다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between various latent profiles of teaching competencies and influence factors of elementary school preservice teachers. Methods For this, we applied the Latent Profile Analysis (LPA) based on the data collected through an online survey targeting a total of 537 4th grade preservice teachers enrolled in national universities of education. In particular, IC index, entropy, significance of LMR_LRT and BLRT were used to determine the number of latent profiles. Results As a result of applying LPA, the final five latent profiles were found to be the most suitable. : The teaching competency-high group (26.8%) with the highest level in all sub-factors constituting all teaching competency, class management-high group (6.7%) with excellent class reflection and criticism, class atmosphere creation and class management, teaching competency-medium group (45.1%) with average levels of all sub-factors, teaching competency-low group (18.9%) with all sub-factors below the middle level, and teaching competency-lowest group (3.2%) with all sub-factors at the lowest level. To the next, as a result of verifying the variables that affect the classification of the latent profile for teaching competency, it was found that teacher belief and cooperative competency had a significant effect. Conclusions This study has empirical implications in that it identified the existence of various sub-latent profiles according to the teaching competencies of pre-service elementary teachers, and investigated the effect of internal and professional variables on profile classification comprehensively. Finally, the significance and limitations of this study were discussed.
