국문 초록

본 연구는 2013년부터 2024년 상반기까지 발표된 특수교사 정체성 관련 학술지와 학위논문 22편을 분석하여 연구 동향을 파악하였다. 연구는 연구시기, 방법, 대상, 주제를 기준으로 설정되었으며, 질적 연구와 양적 연구로 나누었다. 질적 연구는 근거이론, 내러티브, 문화기술지, 일반적 질적연구로, 자료수집방법에는 개인심층면담, 초점집단면담(FGI), 성찰일지, 질문지 등으로 분류하였다. 연구 대상은 특수교사, 예비특수교사, 유아특수교사, 특수체육교사, 진로전담교사 등으로 나누었다. 연구 결과, 특수교사 정체성 연구는 2013년 이후 처음 시작되었으며, 학위논문이 학술지 논문보다 많았고, 2019년과 2021년에 가장 활발히 이루어졌다. 질적 연구(68%)가 양적 연구(32%)보다 많았으며, 질적연구 중에서 일반적 질적 연구(58%)가 가장 많이 사용되었고, 근거이론(27%)과 내러티브(13%), 문화기술지(7%)였다. 자료 수집방법에서는 양적 연구에서 질문지법(32%), 질적 연구에서는 개인 심층면담(32%), 초점집단면담(FGI)(22%), 성찰일지(14%)로 나타났다. 연구 대상은 특수교사가 가장 많았고, 유아특수교사, 예비특수교사, 특수체육교사, 진로전담교사가 그 뒤를 이었다. 연구 주제는 정체성 형성과 인식이 가장 많았고, 정체성 영향 요인과 탐구가 뒤를 이었다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 특수교사의 정체성 연구 방향등에 대해 논하였다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed 22 academic journal articles and dissertations on the identity of special education teachers published from 2013 to the first half of 2024 to examine research trends. The analysis focused on the period, methodology, subjects, and topics, categorizing studies into qualitative (68%) and quantitative (32%) research. Qualitative research was further classified into general qualitative research (58%), grounded theory (27%), narrative (13%), and ethnography (7%). Data collection methods included in-depth interviews (32%), focus group interviews (22%), and reflective journals (14%) for qualitative studies, while quantitative studies primarily used questionnaires (32%). Regarding research subjects, special education teachers were the most frequently studied, followed by early childhood special education teachers, pre-service special education teachers, special physical education teachers, and career guidance teachers. Research activity peaked in 2019 and 2021, with dissertations outnumbering journal articles. The main research topics included identity formation and perception, factors influencing identity, and identity exploration. Based on these findings, the study discussed future research directions on the identity of special education teachers.
