국문 초록

본 연구는 수정된 도식기반교수가 중학교 지적장애 학생의 비례식과 비례배분 문장제 문제해결에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 서울시에 위치한 J 중학교 특수학급에 재학 중인 중2, 3학년 지적장애 학생 3명으로, 실험 효과의 검증을 위해 대상자 간 중다기초선 설계를 적용하였다. 중재는 주 4회, 회기당 45분씩, 대상 학생별로 14∼19회 실시되었다. 연구 대상 학생들이 문장제 문제를 해결하는 과정에서 보이는 오류를 분석하여 이를 지도에 환류함으로써 중재의 효과성을 높이고자 하였다. 또한 중재의 효과를 검증하고자 교육과정중심평가(CBA)를 활용하여 문제해결을 정확도와 수행률로 구분하여 자료를 수집하였다. 그 결과, 연구에 참여한 학생 모두 문장제 문제해결에 향상을 보였으며, 중재의 효과는 유지되는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 수정된 도식기반교수가 지적장애 중학생의 비례식과 비례배분 문장제 문제해결에 효과적인 중재임을 입증한 것이며, 교육 현장에서 지적장애 학생들에게 유용하게 활용될 수 있음을 시사한다. 이상의 연구 결과를 토대로 연구의 의의 및 제한점에 따른 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of modified schema-based instruction on the proportional equation and distribution word problem-solving skills of middle school students with intellectual disabilities. The participants were three second-grade and third-grade students with intellectual disabilities enrolled in a special education class at J Middle School in Seoul. To verify the effectiveness of the intervention, a multiple probe design across subjects was employed. The intervention was conducted four times a week, with each session lasting 45 minutes, for a total of 14 to 19 sessions per student. Errors observed during the students' problem-solving processes were analyzed and reflected in the instruction to enhance the effectiveness of the intervention. Additionally, CBA was utilized to verify the intervention's effectiveness, with data collected based on problem-solving accuracy and performance rate. The results showed that all participants demonstrated improvements in word problem-solving, and the effects of the intervention were maintained over time. These findings provide evidence that modified schema-based instruction is an effective intervention for improving proportional equation and proportional distribution word problem-solving skills in middle school students with intellectual disabilities. Based on these findings, the study discusses its significance and presents suggestions considering its limitations.
