A Study on the Music Major Students’ Perceptions and Satisfaction with Online Classes in China under the COVID-19 Situation

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 코로나19 상황에서의 온라인 수업에 대한 중국 음악전공 학생들의 인식 및 만족도와 이들 변수들 간의 관계를 조사하는 데 있다. 방법 연구 참가자들은 중국 전역의 15개 지역과 2개 자치구에 위치한 62개 대학에서 음악을 전공하는 학부생과 대학원생 588명으로 구성되었다. 본 연구에서는 인식과 관련하여 시스템 인식, 주관적 규범 인식 및 지각된 행동 통제의 3가지 영역과 온라인 수업 만족도와 관련하여 시스템, 상호작용 및 지원, 학습, 전문적 실천 지도의 4가지 영역에 대해 설문조사를 실시하였습니다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0을 이용한 기술 통계량, 상관 분석 및 선형 회귀 분석에 사용되었다. 결과 첫째, 중국 음악전공 학생들의 온라인 수업에 대한 전반적인 인식이 비교적 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 중국음악 전공 학생들의 온라인 수업에 대한 전반적인 만족도 또한 비교적 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 중국음악 전공 학생들의 온라인 수업에 대한 인식과 만족도 사이에 유의한 상관관계가 있었다. 또한 시스템지각, 주관적 규범지각, 지각된 행동통제 등 인식의 3차원 모두 온라인수업 만족도에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구는 대학 음악전공 학생들을 대상으로 거의 연구되지 않았던 온라인 수업에 대한 인식의 현황을 시스템, 학습, 사회적 관계, 개인적 심리적 측면 등 다양한 차원에서 조사하였다. 이를 통해 도출된 분석결과가 궁극적으로 만족스러운 온라인 수업을 발전시키는 데 중요한 기초 자료가 될 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the perceptions and satisfaction of Chinese music major students with online classes and the relationship between these variables in the COVID-19 situation. Methods The research participants consisted of 588 undergraduate and graduate students majoring in music from 62 universities located in 15 areas and 2 autonomous regions across China. In this study, a survey was conducted on the three areas of system perception, subjective norm perception, and perceived behavioral control in relation to the perception and the four areas of system, interaction and support, learning, and professional practice guidance in relation to satisfaction of online classes. The collected data were used for descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and linear regression analysis using SPSS 25.0. Results First, the overall perceptions of Chinese music major students with online classes is relatively high. Second, the overall satisfaction of Chinese music major students with online classes is also relatively high. Third, there was a significant correlation between the perceptions and satisfaction of Chinese music major students on online classes. In addition, all 3 dimensions of perception, including system perception, subjective norm perception, and perceived behavioral control, had a statistically significant effect on satisfaction with online classes. Conclusions This study investigated the current status of university music major students' perceptions of online classes, which were rarely studied, in various dimensions such as system, learning, social relationship, and personal psychological aspects. It is expected that these various areas of perception will eventually become important basic data for developing highly satisfactory online classes.
