국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 유아기 자녀를 둔 부모의 로봇에 대한 태도, 행동특성 및 로봇 외양에 대한 인식의 차이를 알아보고자 한다. 방법 이를 위하여 J도에 위치한 유치원과 어린이집에 다니는 만 3-5세 유아의 부모 335명을 대상으로 2022년 11월 15일부터 12월 20일까지 로봇에 대한 태도, 행동특성, 로봇 외양에 대한 인식을 알아보기 위한 설문조사를 시행하고 자료를 수집하여 t검증으로 자료를 분석하였다. 결과 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 로봇에 대한 일반적 태도와 교육적 활용에 대한 태도는 부모에 따라 유의미한 차이가 있는 부분이 있었으나 대체로 긍정적인 편으로 나타났다. 로봇의 사용이 자신의 일에 도움이 되리라는 인식이 있었고 로봇 사용이 유용하다고 인식하고 있어 로봇 사용에 대해 수용적이었다. 둘째, 로봇의 행동특성에 대해 부모 간에 차이는 없었으나 부모 모두 예측가능하고 통제가능하며 가족에게 사려 깊게 행동하여야 한다고 확고하게 인식하고 있었다. 셋째, 로봇 외양에 대한 인식은 부모 간에 차이는 없었으나 겉모양, 동작에서는 인간과 유사하지 않아도 되나 의사소통 능력에서는 인간과 유사하여야 한다는 요구가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구를 통해 유아기 자녀를 둔 부모 간의 로봇에 대한 태도와 행동특성, 로봇 외양에 대한 인식의 차이를 알아봄으로써 로봇에 대한 접근성과 수용성을 높이기 위한 기초 자료가 될 수 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception about attitudes and behavioral characteristics and appearance of robots between mothers and fathers with young childrens. Methods For the study, 335 parents of young children aged 3-5 attending kindergartens and daycare centers located in J-do were surveyed from November 15, 2022 to December 12. The collected data were analyzed by t-test. Results The analysis result is as follows. First, there was a significant difference between mothers and fathers' general attitude toward robots and their attitudes toward educational use, but they were generally positive. Second, there was no difference between mothers and fathers regarding the behavioral characteristics of the robot, but both parents firmly recognized that it was predictable, controllable, and should act with consideration towards the family. Third, there was no difference between mothers and fathers in the recognition of the similarity in appearance between the robot and the human, but it is not necessary to be similar to a human in appearance and motion, but it was found that the demand to be similar to a human in communication ability was high. Conclusions Through this study, it can serve as basic data to increase accessibility and acceptance of robots by examining differences in attitudes and behavioral characteristics toward robots, and perceptions of robot appearances among parents with young children.
