어머니의 훈육유형과 교사-유아관계가 유아의 또래유능성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 유아기의 또래유능성에 어머니의 훈육유형, 교사-유아관계, 유아의 정서조절이 미치는 영향력과 경로를 분석함으로써, 사회적으로 건강한 유아 및 성인을 만들기 위한 목적으로 연구하였다. 방법 본 연구는 경기도와 인천에 소재한 유아교육기관에 다니는 만 3~5세 유아 254명의 어머니와 교사를 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 변인들 간의 관계를 알아보기 위하여 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 사용하여 상관관계분석과 매개효과 검증을 실시하였다. 결과 어머니의 합리적 반응형 훈육유형과 친밀한 교사-유아관계는 또래유능성과 정적관계, 감정적 반응형, 과대허용적 반응형과 갈등적 교사-유아관계는 부적관계를 보였다. 어머니의 훈육유형과 교사-유아관계가 유아의 또래유능성에 미치는 영향에서 유아의 정서조절능력의 매개효과가 나타났다. 결론 부모와 교사 역할이 유아의 정서조절 및 또래유능성의 미치는 경로와 영향을 밝힘으로써 합리적 훈육방식과 친밀한 교사-유아관계의 긍정적인 효과를 검증하였고, 합리적 훈육을 위한 부모교육 및 교사처우개선 독려의 근거로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to support children and adults to be socially healthy by analyzing the influence and path of mother’s discipline style, teacher-child relationship, and child emotion regulation in child’s peer competence. Methods The data collected from the mothers and teachers of 254 children aged 3 to 5 who attend kindergartens in Gyeonggi-do and Incheon. SPSS 25.0 program were used to find out the relationship among the variables. The correlation analysis and mediated regression analysis of Baron and Kenny were used. Results The rational discipline style of mothers and the intimate relationship between teacher and child were positively correlated with child’s peer competence. The emotional and over-allowed reactive discipline of mothers and the conflict relationship between teacher and child negatively correlated with the peer competence. There were mediating effects of child’s emotion regulation in the relationship between mother’s discipline style and the peer competence, and the relationship between teacher-child relationship and peer competence. Conclusions This study is meaningful to emphasize the importance of the role of parents and teachers by examining the path and influence of mother and teacher variables on the peer competence of child, and to verify the positive effect of rational discipline and intimate teacher-child relationship. The results of this study will support the necessity of mother’s rational discipline and environment for intimate relationship between teacher and child.
