국문 초록

목적 2022 개정 교육과정 및 고교학점제 도입에 따른 직업계고 고교학점제 모형에서 학과 내 경로형 모형 중 코스형 교육과정을 적용한 직업계고 미용과 운영사례, 학생 및 교사 만족도를 조사하는데 목적이 있다. 방법 2022년 10월부터 11월까지 서울특별시 소재 직업계고 미용과 코스형 교육과정을 경험한 고등학생 3학년 총 160명을 대상으로 세부전공 선택요인, 교육과정 및 교육환경 만족도, 선호 직종에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였고, 코스형 교육과정을 운영한 교사 20명을 대상으로 코스형 교육과정 운영의 수월성 및 만족도에 대한 설문조사를 실시한 후 빈도분석, 기술통계, 일원배치 분산분석, 독립표본 t-검증, 교차분석, 일표본 K-S 검증을 실시하였다. 결과 코스형 세부전공 선택요인을 각 전공에 따라 살펴보면 개인적 요인에서 헤어미용, 메이크업, 피부미용 순으로 나타나며 헤어미용 전공 학생들이 세부전공 선택 시 소신껏 선택한 것으로 볼 수 있다. 사회적 요인은 전공에 상관없이 낮게 나타났다. 교육과정 및 교육환경 만족도에 대한 결과는 전공별로 헤어미용, 메이크업, 피부미용 순으로 교육과정 만족도에서 차이가 나타났으며 교육환경 만족도에서는 유사하게 나타났다. 직업계고 미용과 선호직종은 산업체 근무희망의 경우 헤어미용 집단이 피부미용, 메이크업 집단에 비해 높게 나타났다. 진로희망 집단별 결과로는 취업을 희망하는 집단은 산업체 근무 희망에서 진학을 희망하는 집단에 비해 높게 나타나고, 진학을 희망하는 학생은 회사, 교육기관 근무 희망이 취업을 희망하는 학생에 비해 높게 나타났다. 교사들의 코스형 교육과정 운영 시 수월성 및 만족도는 교육과정 운영에 대한 재정적 지원에 대한 항목을 제외하고 전반적으로 높게 나타났다. 결론 고교학점제 전면 시행 전 코스형 교육과정의 원활한 운영 및 만족도를 위해서 체계적인 교육과정 운영계획 수립 및 편성을 실시해야 한다. 지속적인 상담, 학업설계를 통해 학생들이 세부전공을 선택할 수 있도록 학교의 적극적인 노력이 필요하며 교육과정, 교육환경 만족도를 높이기 위해 학생들의 진로와 관련 있는 과목개설, 다양한 비교과 프로그램 구성, 교육환경 구성, 재정적 지원이 원활하게 이뤄져야 한다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 고교학점제 전면 시행 시 코스형 교육과정이 활성화되고 내실화되길 기대하며 지역별, 단위학교별로 코스형 교육과정 운영이 다채로운 상황에서 이를 비교한 연구와 코스형 교육과정의 문제점과 운영방안 등에 대한 후속연구의 필요성을 제시한다.

영문 초록

Objectives This thesis aims at investigating cases of the course-type curriculum in the vocational high school’s beauty department, which is a course-type model with in the department precisely selected from Vocational High school credit system models, followed by the implementation of the 2022 revised curriculum and the high school credit system, and satisfaction surveys. Methods From October to November 2022, a questionnaire was conducted by a total of 160 third-year students in the vocational high school beauty department in Seoul regarding selection of the course-type specific majors, their satisfaction level towards its curriculum and environment, and their preferred occupations. It was further undertaken by 20 teachers who performed the course-type curriculum. The survey results were then used to perform the frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, One-way ANOVA, t-statistics, Chi-square test and One Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Results The dominant factor upon course-type major selection was personal reason, followed by hair, makeup and skincare reasons, and the hair department students tend to select their majors most precisely. Their satisfaction with the educational environment appeared not to differ by each department, whereas respondents revealed varied level of satisfaction with the course-type curriculum in an order descending of Hair, Makeup and Skincare group. The hair group showed higher interest than others on desire to work in the industry. Teachers’ satisfaction were overall high except for the financial support on curriculum operation. Conclusions Prior to the complete implementation of the high school credit system, the development and coordination of a structured education curriculum have to take place through surveys. We hope that the findings of this study would be applied and assist in implementing and sustaining the course-type curriculum upon full implementation of the credit system. This study suggests follow-up research on comparative cases by different regions and different high school units for further investigating its limitations and management plans.
