SBAR를 활용한 건강사정실습교육이 간호대학생의 의사소통명확성, 의사소통자신감, 학습동기에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 건강사정실습 교육과정에 구조화된 SBAR를 활용하여 간호대학생의 의사소통명확성, 의사소통자신감, 학습동기에 미치는 효과성을 검증하고자 시도되었다. 방법 충남 소재 4년제 A대학교 간호학과 2학년에 재학 중인 학생 45명을 대상으로 SBAR를 활용한 건강사정실습 교육을 적용한 후 사전, 사후 관련 변인을 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0 program(IBM)을 활용하여 분석하였다. 첫째, 사용된 척도의 신뢰도 값은 각 척도 별로 Cronbach’s α 값을 산출하였다. 둘째, 의사소통명확성, 의사소통자신감, 학습동기는 기술통계를 활용하여 평균과 표준편차를 산출하였다. 셋째, 연구가설 검증을 위해 Wilcoxon signed rank test를 이용하여 분석하였다. 결과 SBAR를 활용한 건강사정실습 교육 후 연구대상자의 의사소통명확성은 사전 1.88±0.57, 사후 4.87±0.30로 통계적으로 유의하게 상승하였다(Z=-5.846, p<.001). 연구대상자의 의사소통자신감은 교육 전에 비해 사전 5.33±0.57, 사후 7.92±0.64로 통계적으로 유의하게 상승하였다(Z=-5.875, p<.001). 학습동기는 사전 3.71±0.25, 사후 3.97±0.34로 통계적으로 유의하게 상승하였다(Z=-4.617, p<.001). 결론 SBAR를 활용한 건강사정실습 교육은 간호대학생의 의사소통명확성과 의사소통자신감, 학습동기 향상에 효과적인 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 표준화된 SBAR도구를 활용한 교육은 예비 간호사의 의료인 간 효율적 의사소통능력 향상을 위한 적절한 교육 중재로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study attempted to verify the effectiveness of nursing college students on communication clarity, communication confidence, and learning motivation by utilizing structured SBAR in the health assessment practice curriculum. Methods The pre and post-related variables were measured after applying health assessment training using SBAR to 45 students who are in the second grade of nursing at A University in Chungcheongnam-do. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 program (IBM). First, the confidence value of the scale used was Cronbach s α for each scale. Second, communication clarity, communication confidence, and learning motivation were calculated using technical statistics to calculate the mean and standard deviation. Third, the analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon signed rank test to verify the theory. Results As a result, the communication clarity of the study subjects after training in health assessment using SBAR increased statistically significantly to 1.88±0.57 in advance and 4.87±0.30 in post-SBAR (Z=-5.846, p<.001). The communication confidence of the subjects rose statistically significantly to 5.33±0.57 in advance and 7.92±0.64 in post-training (Z=-5.875, p<.001). The learning motivation increased statistically significantly to pre 3.71±0.25, post 3.97±0.34 (Z=-4.617, p<.001). Conclusions Health assessment practicum education using SBAR was found to be effective in improving communication clarity, communication confidence and learning motivation for nursing students. In order to respond to future nursing practices in a recent medical environment that requires fast and accurate judgment and comprehensive problem-solving skills, teaching strategies such as practical training using SBAR are needed as in this study.
