코로나19 상황에서 전문상담교사의 학교상담 경험 탐색

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 코로나19 상황으로 인한 초⋅중⋅고 학생들의 경험과, 코로나 상황에서 전문상담교사들의 대응을 심도있게 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 방법 코로나19를 경험한 K지역의 초⋅중⋅고 전문상담교사 6명을 대상으로 질적 면접을 실시하고, 반복적 비교분석법을 활용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 개방코딩을 통하여 연구참여자들의 표현을 그대로 요약하고 이를 반복적으로 비교하는 범주화 작업을 통해 상위범주로 분류하였다. 범주화된 내용을 바탕으로 원자료와의 비교를 통해 적합도에 따라 범주를 확정하거나 수정하는 범주확인과정을 거쳤으며 연구의 신뢰도와 타당도를 높이기 위하여 연구참여자 확인법을 거쳤다. 결과 분석결과, ‘코로나 19로 인한 학교상담 내담자의 변화’, ‘코로나19 상황에서 전문상담교사들의 대응’이라는 2개의 상위범주아래 ‘코로나19로 인해 한계가 없어진 생활’, ‘소통과 상담을 위한 다양한 방법의 시도’, ‘소수 내담자에 집중적인 개입과 높은 효과’ 등 각 4개씩의 하위범주가 도출되었다. 결론 연구 결과를 바탕으로 ‘내담자 발굴을 위한 시스템 마련’, ‘다양한 상담방법의 제도화’, ‘공유 플랫폼 마련’ 등과 같은 내용을 제언하였다. 본 연구는 코로나와 같은 사회적 위기 상황에서 학교상담의 대응과 코로나 이후의 ？？에 대한 학교상담의 선제적 대응책 마련에 기초 자료를 제공한다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study intended to elucidate not only the experiences of elementary, middle, and high school students on the COVID-19 pandemic but also the responses of professional counseling teachers under such a pandemic situation. Methods This study recruited six professional counseling teachers who have experienced the COVID-19 pandemic situation in K region to conduct the qualitative interviews and the interview data were analyzed employing the constant comparison method. Results As the analysis results, it was derived two super-domains of ‘changes of the counselees in school due to the COVID-19’ and ‘responses of the professional counseling teachers under the COVID-19 pandemic situation’, and thereby entailing a total of eight sub-domains such as ‘daily life with no boundary because of the COVID-19’, ‘various attempts for communication and counseling’, ‘intensive intervention on the minority counselees and consequent high effect’. Conclusions Based on the findings of this study, it was suggested the action items such as ‘preparing the system for identifying a counselee who needs help’, ‘systemizing the various counseling methods,’ and ‘arranging a sharing platform’. This study is significant in that it provides fundamental data not only for the response of school counseling under social crisis situation like the COVID-19 pandemic but also for the preparation of the preemptive measures in school counseling on the normal daily life after the COVID-19 pandemic.
