교양영어와 예술교과의 융복합 사례 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 인문학과 예술의 융복합 교양 교과목의 가능성을 알아보고자 교양영어와 예술교과를 융합하여 수업을 설계, 시행하여 이를 수강한 학습자들의 반응과 견해를 고찰하고자한다. 이를 통해 한다. 방법 15주 동안 총 41명의 대학생이 참여한 본 연구는 본 교과목에 대한 만족도와 과제 수행에 대한 의견을 알아보기 위하여 실시한 두 번의 설문조사와 학기가 마무리 된 후 실시한 강의 평가 결과를 분석하였다. 결과 총 34명의 학습자가 응답한 설문 조사 결과에 따르면 교과목 만족도는 5점 만점에 4.17점을 보여주었으며, 수행 과제 만족도는 5점 만점에 4.25점을 나타냈다. 학습자의 강의 평가 결과는 5점 만점에 4.38점이었고 전체적으로 융복합 교양교과목에 긍정적인 견해를 제시하였다. 결론 미술교과와 교양영어의 융복합 교양교과목은 학습자의 외국어 교육 향상과 동시에 다른 문화에 대한 이해를 촉진시킬 가능성이 있다. 향후 미술 교과에 대한 전문성 보완과 과목 운영의 효율성이 요구된다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study were is to examine the possibility of the integrated liberal arts curriculum of humanities and arts. To this, it designed and implemented the classes by combining liberal arts and arts, and examined the responses and opinions of the learners who have taken the classes. Methods Over 15 weeks, 41 college students participated in this study. This study analyzed two things: one is two surveys of their satisfaction with the course and their opinions about the task performance, and the other is the lecture evaluation which was conveyed after the course was over. Results According to the results of the survey, the satisfaction of the subject was 4.17 out of 5, and the satisfaction of the performance task was 4.25 out of 5. The result of the evaluation of the lecture of the learner was 4.38 out of 5, and overall, the positive opinion was presented to the integrated liberal arts curriculum. Conclusions The integrated liberal arts curriculum of art and liberal arts English has shown a possibility to foster learners understanding of other cultures as well as improve their foreign language ability. In the future, it is required to supplement the expertise of art subject and to operate the curriculum more efficiently.
