디자인씽킹에 기반한「교과 논리 및 논술」수업 사례연구

국문 초록

최근 4차 산업에 필요한 역량인 자발적인 학습 및 협력 학습이 길러지는 디자인씽킹 과정이 교육방법으로 대두되고 있다. 본 연구는 유아교사 양성과정의 필수교과목인 「교과 논리 및 논술」수업을 디자인씽킹 과정에 기반하여 설계 및 운영함으로써 이 수업의 교육적 효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 본 연구 대상은 인천에 있는 K대학교 유아교육과 2학년에 제학중인 학생들로, 4반 중 2반의 학생은 실험집단(36명) 그리고 4반 중 2반의 학생은 비교집단(36명)으로 이루어졌다. 실험집단은 디자인씽킹 과정 8단계를 활용한 「교과논리 및 논술」수업이 이루어졌다. 반면, 비교집단은 일반적인 모의수업을 중심으로 한 「교과 논리 및 논술」수업이 이루어졌다. 연구의 효과를 보기 위해 논리적 사고의 하위요소인 비판적 사고 검사 및 창의적 태도 검사를 실시하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실험집단에서 비판적 사고 점수가 통계적으로 유의하게 향상되었으며 비판적 사고의 하위영역인 지적열정/호기심, 신중성, 자신감, 체계성의 점수가 향상되었다. 둘째, 실험집단에서 창의적 태도 점수가 통계적으로 유의하게 향상되었으며 창의적 태도의 하위영역인 모험심, 개방성의 점수가 향상되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 「교과 논리 및 논술」의 목적에 부합하는 교과 운영의 사례이다. 또한 이것은 「교과 논리 및 논술」수업 운영에 대한 방향성 설정을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

Recently, the Design Thinking process, in which spontaneous learning and cooperative learning, which are competencies required for the 4th industry, is developed, has emerged as an educational method. The purpose of this study is to verify the educational effect of this class by designing and operating 「subject logic and essay」 classes, which are an essential subject of the early childhood teacher training course, based on the design thinking process. The subjects of this study were student who were in the second year of the Department of Early Childhood Education, K University in Incheon, and two of the four classes consisted of an experimental group (36 students) and two of the four classes consisted of a comparative group (36 people). In order to see the effect of this study, critical thinking test which are sub-elements of logical thinking and creative attitude test were conducted. The results of this study are as follows. First, the scores of critical thinking were significantly improved in the experimental group, and scores of intellectual passion, curiosity, prudence, confidence, and systematicity, which were subdomains of critical thinking, were improved. Second, the creative attitude scores improved significantly in the experimental group, and the scores of adventure and openness, which are sub-domains of creative attitudes, improved. The results of this study are examples of subject operations that meet the purpose of 「Subject Logic and Essay」. It is also expected to be used as the basic data for setting the direction of 「Subject Logic and Essay」class.
