사이버 대학 현황 및 만족도 관련 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 국내 사이버 대학 현황 파악과 사이버 대학에 대한 만족도 관련변인 분석하여 향후 사이버 대학의 연구방향을 모색하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 2001년부터 한국원격대학협의회에 가입되어 있는 21개 대학의 현황을 파악하고, 국내 사이버 대학 만족도와 관련한 연구주제별 동향을 파악하기 위하여 학술지 논문 27편을 추출하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 개교현황 분석결과 2001년에 최초로 9개 대학을 시작으로 2012년까지 총 21개 대학이 개교하였다. 둘째, 국내 사이버 대학 교육과정은 총 15개 분야, 학과는 총 145개로 운영되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 모집인원 기준으로 지난 5년간 대체로 모든 대학은 충원율이 증가세를 보이고 있으나 KC대학 외 6개 대학은 최근 입학생 비율이 낮게 나타났다. 넷째, 연구시기는 2010년에 가장 많이 연구 되었다. 다섯째, 연구 방법별 동향을 보면 ‘조사연구’가 가장 많이 사용되었고, ‘문헌고찰’, ‘도구개발’, ‘질적연구’는 각각 1편이었다. 여섯째, 연구변인은 총 69개였고, 연구주제 범주로 살펴보면 심리정서적 요인 19편, 학습요인 19편, 수업환경요인 16편, 교수요인 8편, 기타 7편 순으로 나타났다. 일곱째, 사이버대학 만족도에 관한 연구는 2003년부터 시작되었고, 초기에는 학습요인, 교수요인이 주된 주제였고, 2008년부터 교육환경 변인과 개인의 심리·정서적 변인 등 다양하게 연구되었다. 이상의 연구 결과를 반영하여 논의를 제시하고, 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the present conditions of Korean cyber universities along with satisfaction-related variables of cyber universities to search for future cyber university Operation plan. For this, the present conditions of 21 universities that were members of the Korean Council of Cyber Universities from 2001 to 2019 were looked into and 27 journal theses were extracted to look into trends by research topic related to satisfaction in Korean cyber universities. Research results were that, first, analysis results of the present conditions of school openings showed that, with an initial 9 universities in 2001, a total of 21 universities opened by 2012. Second, Korean cyber university curriculums were being operated with a total of 15 fields and 145 departments. Third, most universities displayed increased filling rates over the past 5 years based on recruitment numbers but 6 universities in addition to KC University showed low recent admission ratios. Fourth, the research period was the most studied in 2010. Fifth, observations on trends by research method showed that investigative studies were used the most and ‘literary studies’, ‘tool development’, ‘qualitative studies’were each one. Sixth, there were a total of 69 research variables and observations of research topic categories showed 19 psycho-emotional factors, 19 learning factors, 16 class environment factors, 8 teaching factors, and 7 other factors. Seventh, research on satisfaction in cyber universities began in 2003 and initially, learning factors and teaching factors were the main topics and since 2008, research was conducted diversely on things such as educational environment variables and individual psycho-emotional variables. Discussions were presented in reflection of these research results and proposals for future research were made.
