국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 중학교 도덕과 교육과정에서 일․직업 관련 내용을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 3개 대영역과 하위 5개 영역으로 구성된 일․직업 관련 교육내용분류 기준을 마련하고, 2019년 1월 2일 부터 18일, 2월 15일부터 2월 19일까지 2회기 동안 총 7차례에 걸쳐, 2차부터 2015 개정 도덕과 교육과정에서 ‘일’, ‘직업’, ‘진로’를 포함하는 내용을 추출하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과 도덕과 교육과정에서는 직업의식,근로 등 올바른 직업 태도와 일과 행복 등 직업의 의미, 그리고 6차 도덕과 교육과정이후부터 진로 탐색이나 계획 및 준비 등 직업세계에 대한 전망 확보 등의 일․직업 관련 내용이 언급되고 있었다. 또한 도덕과 교육과정은 도덕과의 고유한 내용 체계구성 원리를 활용하여 직업 관련 내용을 자신, 타인, 사회․공동체와의 관계 영역에 서 다루고 있었다. 이를 통해 도덕과 교육은 다른 교과교육과는 차별되는 논의의 방식으로 직업이 가지는 개인적․사회적 차원의 의미를 일깨워주고 있었다. 그러나 도덕과 교육은 미래 직업세계의 변화와 고용에 대한 열린 태도 등 직업과 관련된 미래 지향적 태도를 함양하는 내용을 다루는 데는 소극적 모습을 보였다. 이에 본 연구는 도덕과 교육과정에서 미래 직업세계의 변화와 고용 등의 내용을 강화하고, 이를 복수의 내용 영역에서 언급하며 직업이 가지는 다양한 차원의 의미를 드러낼 것을 제 안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the contents related to work and job in the moral education curriculum of middle school. For this purpose, the criteria for classification consisting of three areas and its five subareas were prepared for classifying contents related work and job education. The contents including ‘work’, ‘job’, and ‘career’ were extracted and analyzed from the second moral curriculum to the 2015 revised moral curriculum, from 2nd to 18th January 2019, and from 15th to 19th February 2019, in total seven times during the second session. According to the analysis, in the moral curriculum, contents related to work and job were mentioned in terms of good work attitudes such as work ethics and working hard, and the meaning of job such as happiness in work. And securing prospect for the job world such as career exploration, planning and preparation was mentioned after the 6th moral curriculum. In addition, using the principle of organizing a unique content system of moral education, contents related job were addressed in relationship with oneself, others, and society and community. Through this way, moral education has awakened the personal and social dimensions of work and demonstrated a way of description that differs from other education. Moral education, however, have shown limitations in dealing with contents to foster future-oriented attitudes related to jobs, such as changes in the future job world and an open attitude toward employment. Therefore, this study suggested that the contents of future job world changes and employment, etc. should be mentioned in multiple content areas to reveal the various dimensions of job meaning.
