국문 초록

본 연구는 중년기 여성의 감정표현불능성향과 신체화의 관계에서 포커싱적 태도의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울과 경기도에 거주하고 있는 40세에서 60세까지의 중년기 여성 356명을 대상으로 2019년 3월 9일∼2019년 3월 22일까 지 감정표현불능성향, 포커싱적 태도, 신체화 척도를 사용하여 설문을 실시하였다.자료처리는 SPSS 21.0과 AMOS 21.0으로 통계처리 하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과를 요약하면, 첫째, 감정표현불능성향과 신체화는 정적으로 유의미한 상관관계, 감정표 현불능성향과 포커싱적 태도의 하위요인, 포커싱적 태도의 하위요인과 신체화 모두 유의미한 상관관계를 나타냈다. 둘째, 감정표현불능성향과 신체화의 관계에서 포커싱적 태도의 매개효과를 알아보기 위해 연구모형과 경쟁모형을 설정하고 이를 검증 한 결과, 포커싱적 태도가 부분 매개하는 연구 모형이 더 적합한 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 감정표현불능성향이 높은 중년기 여성을 상담할 때 체험변인인 포커싱적 태도를 다루는 것이 신체화를 예방, 감소시키는데 효과적인 방안임을 시사하였다.

영문 초록

This study was intended to verify the mediating effect of focusing manner in relation to alexithymia and somatization of middle-aged women. To that end, 356 middle-aged women between the ages of 40 and 60 in Seoul and Gyeonggi were surveyed from March 9, 2019 to March 22, 2019, using alexithymia, focusing manner and somatization(Symptom Checklist-90-Revision; SCL-90-R). Data processing was performed with SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. To summarize the main results of this study, firstly, alexithymia and somatization showed significant correlation, lower factors of alexithymia and focusing manner, lower factors of focusing manner and somatization both indicated significant correlation. Second, the research model and the competition model were established and verified to identify the mediated effects of focusing manner in relation to alexithymia and somatization, and the study model partially mediated by focusing manner was found to be more appropriate. These results suggest that dealing with the experience-based focusing manner of counseling middle-aged women with high alexithymia is an effective way to prevent and reduce somatization.
