국문 초록

본 연구는 어린이집 실외 놀이터의 질적 수준과 만 5세 아동의 위험감수놀이행동간의 관계를 알아보기 위하여 실시되었다. 2018년 7월 2일부터 11일까지 약 10일간 예비조사를 한 뒤 2018년 8월 31일부터 9월 19일까지 본 조사가 진행되었다. 연구대 상은 경기도 지역의 어린이집 실외 놀이터 10곳과 각 기관에 재원 중인 94명의 아동이다. 수집된 자료는 연구문제에 따라 빈도와 백분율, 평균, t검증, Kendall’s Tau 상관분석을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 연구대상 아동의 위험감수놀이는 높은 위치에서의 놀이와 빠른 속도의 놀이를 빈번히 하는 것으로 나타났고 성별에 따른 위험감수놀이 빈도는 남아가 여아 보다 다소 높았다. 또한 아동은 또래와 함께 높은 위치에서의 놀이를 즐겨하였고 교사와 놀이할 때는 빠른 속도의 놀이 빈도가 낮았으 며, 혼자 놀이 할 때 감독에서 벗어난 공간에서의 놀이를 하는 빈도가 낮았다. 이를 통해 교사의 행동이 아동의 위험감수놀이를 저해할 가능성을 예상할 수 있으며, 아동의 놀이는 또래와 관련이 있음을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 어린이집 실외 놀이터의 질적 수준은 아동의 위험감수놀이 중 높은 위치에서의 놀이와 빠른 속도의 놀이, 전체 위험감수놀이에서 정적인 상관이 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study observes a frequency of child s risk taking play in an outdoor playground in the kindergarten. Moreover, it considers a relation between an environment quality of outdoor playground and child s risk taking play. For this, this study sets ninety four children in ten kindergartens in the Gyeong-gi province as a object of study. this study evaluates the quality of outdoor playground. In addition, this study analyzes the collected data by a frequency, the percentage, the average, t-test, Kendall s Tau correlation. To summarize it, the result of study is as follows. First, this study discovers that the child s risk-taking play can be seen frequently in a play at the high position and with great speed. In addition, it depends on a gender that male child has much more frequent than female child. But only in case of a tough physical activity, there is a meaningful difference statistically. Likewise, a child tend to enjoy playing at high position with their peer group but once they are playing with a teacher, there is less frequent in a high speed playing. Moreover, when they are playing by themselves there is less frequent in playing on area, which is not supervised. Through this result, the early childhood teacher can restrict the child s risk-taking play and their pioneer group has a high effect on their play. Second, there is a positive relationship between the environment quality of outdoor playground in kindergarten and playing at the high position and with high speed. Finally, to summarize this study, the child’s risk-taking play is highly associated with the environment quality of outdoor playground.
