유아교사를 위한 통합적 인성교육프로그램 실행과정에서 나타난 행복 의미 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사의 상황과 맥락을 반영하여 통합적 인성교육프로그램을 구성하고, 실행과정에서 나타난 유아교사의 행복 의미를 탐색하였다. 참여자는 S시에 위치한 K국공립 어린이집 교사 6명으로 주 1회 1시간 30분씩 15회기를 실시하였다. 통합적 인성교육프로그램은 교사 자신이 스스로의 인성을 인식하고, 인성 함양이 행복 증진과 연결됨을 이해하였으며, 다양한 교수방법으로 진행하여 역동적인 수업이 되었다. 또한 통합적 인성교육모형을 실생활에 적용하여 자존감 향상과 더불어 행복감을 증진하는 실천적 지식과 역량을 갖게 되었다. 프로그램 과정에서 나타난 유아교사의 행복 의미는 감사한 마음과 베풂의 마음, 생각과 행동 바꾸기를 통한 ‘화’ 가라앉히기, 자신의 자존감을 높여 ‘에너지’ 충전하기, 화가 나는 상대에게 행하는 배려와 존중, 교사 자신과 관련된 모든 사회구성원과 더불어 살아가는 공동체의 관계 등에서 행복감을 느끼고 있음을 자각하였다. 또한 행복해지려는 자발적인 의지와 연습은 행복을 가져오고 행복에 대한 유아교사들의 자기 명료화가 중요함을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study composed and conducted an integrated personality education program process and explored early childhood teacher’s meaning of happiness. The participants in this study were six childcare teachers of K National and Public Daycare Center located in S City. Concerning the study period, 15 sessions were carried out (one and a half hours per session per week). In the integrated personality education program, the teachers themselves perceived their own personality and understood that personality cultivation is connected with happiness promotion. They obtained practical knowledge and competence promoting a feeling of happiness, as well as self-esteem improvement by applying the integrated personality education model to real life. As for the meaning of happiness of early childhood teachers revealed process, the teachers perceived that felt a feeling of happiness in the following: thankful heart and benevolent heart, calming down through thinking and behavior change, restoring energy enhancing self-esteem, consideration and respect towards the other party bothering them, and community relationship in which all society members related with the teachers live together. This study also found that voluntary will and practice brings happiness and that the early childhood teachers’ self-clarification on happiness is important.
