국문 초록

본 연구는 초점 집단 인터뷰(FGI)를 통해 양육 스트레스 상황에서 엄마들이 경험하고 있는 내적 대화를 탐색하였다. 특히, 아이들에게 손이 많이 가는 시기인 4~8세 사이의 자녀를 양육하는 엄마를 참여자로 하여, 이들이 어려움을 경험할 때 일어나는 인지적 과정을 확인하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 대전 충청지역에서 참여자 9명을 모집하고 2019년 4월 초점 집단 인터뷰(FGI)를 실시하였다. 그 결과 총 118개의 의미단위를 도출하였고, 이를 3개 큰 주제와 5개 하위 주제, 14개의 중심의미로 구성하였다. 엄마가 양육 스트레스를 받을 때를 돌아본 자기대화는 첫째, 엄마가 되어가는 어려움에 대한 자기대화, 둘째, 엄마로서 노하우가 생겼으나 여전히 감당해야 하는 어려움이 있음과 관련이 되어 있는 자기대화, 그리고 마지막으로 엄마이지만 나라는 개인으로 다시 서려는 자기 대화로 도출되었다. 이와 같은 이해를 통해 이들을 위한 교육 및 상담 지원시 심리, 정서적으로 좀더 섬세한 접근이 가능할 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

In this study, focus group interview (FGI) explored the self - talk that mothers of children between 4 and 8 years experienced in everyday stress situations. Research questions are: First, what is the parenting style? And how much do you feel the burden? Second, what are the most stressful moments when you are nurturing? What is your thoughts and feelings at that time, and how do you deal with them? Third, was your child s response positive? Why? If the response to your child is negative, why? To this end, we recruited 9 participants from Daejeon, Chungcheong region and conducted a focus group interview(FGI) in April 2019. As a result, a total of 118 semantic units were derived and composed of 3 subjects, 5 sub - subjects, and 14 central meanings. The results of this study can understand the self - talk that occurs during the parenting stress of the mother who raised the infant, and it is expected that it will be able to provide basic data for education and counseling support for the psychological and emotional aspects for them.
