국문 초록

본 연구는 선행 연구에 근거하여 고교학점제 시행을 위한 선결조건을 독립변인으로, 외적환경개선, 운영방식 및 직업계고 특성 변인을 매개변인으로, 고교학점제 성공적 도입 변인을 종속변인으로 연구모형을 설정하여 변인들 간의 구조적인 영향관계를 경로분석을 통하여 탐색하였다. 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 선결조건에서 외적환경개선에 이르는 경로, 선결조건에서 운영방식에 이르는 경로, 선결조건에서 직업계고 특성에 이르는 경로 및 직업계고 특성에서 성공적 도입에 이르는 경로는 통계적으로 .000 유의수준 하에서 유의미하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 외적환경개선에서 성공적 도입에 이르는 경로 및 운영방식에서 성공적 도입에 이르는 경로는 통계적으로 유의미하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 직업계고등학교 고교학점제 도입을 위한 선결조건 변인이 충족될수록 직업계고 특성 변인을 매개로 하여 고교학점제 성공적 도입 변인에 정적인 영향을 미친다는 결과는 2020년 마이스터고에 도입 예정인 고교학점제를 시행하기에 앞서 면밀히 검토하여 반영할 필요가 있는 것으로 보인다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed structural impacts of variables on successful implementation of High School Credit System. To investigate structural impacts, prerequisites, external environment improvement, operational modes, and the characteristics of vocational high schools were provided as mediators and the successful implementation of High School Credit System as a dependent variable. The analysis results showed that the path from prerequisites to external environment improvement, the path from prerequisites to operational modes, and the path from prerequisites to the characteristics of vocational high schools affected significantly. However, the path from external environment improvement to the successful implementation of High School Credit System and from operational modes to the successful implementation of High School Credit System had no statistically significant effects. The study findings showed a good fit to the result of the existing literature in that a positive correlation exists between some major variables and the successful implementation of High School Credit System. Moreover, implications for introducing High School Credit System in Meister High School were discussed based on the study findings.
