국문 초록

본 연구는 자연물을 이용한 미술치료가 다문화가정 아동의 자아존중감, 자기표현, 사회성에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 전북 J시의 B초등학교와 D초등학교의 다문화가정 아동 16명으로 실험집단 8명, 통제집단 8명으로 구성되었다. 수집된 자료는 독립표본 t-test 분석을 통해 동질성 검사를 하였으며, 실험집단과 통제집단의 자아존중감, 자기표현, 사회성의 변화와 차이를 확인하기 위해 대응표본 t-test 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자연물을 이용한 미술치료는 다문화가정 아동의 자아존중감에 유의미한 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자연물을 이용한 미술치료는 다문화가정 아동의 자기표현에 유의미한 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 자연물을 이용한 미술치료는 다문화가정 아동의 사회성에 유의미한 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 자연물을 이용한 미술치료는 다문화가정 아동의 자아존중감, 자기표현, 사회성향상에 긍정적인 효과가 있었음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study is to examine the effects of art therapy by using natural objects on self-esteem, self-expression, and sociality of children from multicultural families. The subjects of this study are 16 children from multicultural families who attend in B and D elementary school in a city of J in Jeonbuk. Out of data of 16 children, data of 8 students are experiment group and 8 students are controlled group. By collecting data, equivalence check is done by analysing independent sample t-test analysis. Also, corresponding sample t-test is done to reveal the difference between the control group and the study group of self-esteem, self-expression, and sociality. The results of this study are as follows: first, the art therapy by using natural objects is effective for children from multicultural families to improve self-esteem. Second, the art therapy by using natural objects is effective for children from multicultural families to improve self-expression. Third, the art therapy by using natural objects is effective for children from multicultural families to improve sociality of children. Therefore, the study shows that art therapy by using natural objects has positive effects on self-esteem, self-expression, and sociality of children from multicultural families.
