교과 교육과정에 대한 대강화(大綱化) 방향 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 국가 수준에서 최소 기준을 제시하여 시ㆍ도 및 학교 수준에서 자율성과 다양성을 구현해 나갈 수 있는 공통 교육과정에 대한 교과 교육과정 대강화 방향을 탐색하고자, 교과 교육과정 관련 규정의 결정 수준, 성취기준 수 감소의 실태와 개선 방향, 교과 교육과정 문서에서 제공해야 할 정보에 대하여 2018년 5월에 설문 문항 초안을 작성하고, 6월에 전문가의 검토를 받아 온라인 설문 문항을 구축하여 7월에 전국 17개 시ㆍ도의 초ㆍ중ㆍ고등학교 교사 및 장학사에게 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 그 결과를 분석하여 본 연구에서는 교과 교육과정 대강화를 위하여 첫째, 교육과정 거버넌스의 변화를 위한 교육과정 결정 수준 간 협업 구현, 둘째, 교과 교육 내용 제시 방식으로서의 성취기준의 타당성 제고와 성취기준 개발 및 해석 방법에 대한 논의, 셋째, 교육과정 지역화 및 자율화를 구현하기 위한 교육과정 문서 체제의 요건으로서 명료성과 활용성의 구현 방법 등을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the direction of the curriculum slimming in order to present the minimum criteria for the subject curriculum and to realize the diversity and the autonomy of the school. To achieve these purposes, a survey was taken for elementary, middle, and high school teachers and supervisors regarding the level of decision on curriculum related to common curriculum, the actual condition and improvement direction of reduction of achievement standard, and the information provided from curriculum documents. As a result, this study suggests directions of the curriculum slimming in the common curriculum and the implementation of collaboration between the curriculum decision level for the change of curriculum governance, the improvement of validity of achievement standards as a method of presenting curriculum contents, the development and interpretation of achievement standards, and the implementation of clarity and utilization as a requirement of curriculum document system for realizing curriculum localization and autonomy.
