국문 초록

2000년대 이후 양적 연구가 지녔던 한계를 극복하기 위해 국내 체육교육학 분야에서 질적연구가 본격적으로 활용되기 시작하였다. 이에 본 연구는 2000년에서 2016년까지 한국스포츠교육학회지에서 게재된 질적 연구논문들의 연구전통 및 주제의 동향과 자료수집 및 분석 방법을 분석해 보고 이를 토대로 질적 연구에 대한 이해와 전문성을 발달시키기 위한 방향성을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 자료 수집 및 분석은 2017년 7월부터 2018년 5월까지 진행하였다. 연구유형(전통)으로는 사례연구가 주된 연구 방법으로 사용 되었으며 해석학적 패러다임에 근거한 연구와 현장개선을 위한 실행연구가 새롭게 시도되고 있었다. 연구주제는 새로운 연구방법의 도입과 함께 과거에 비해 훨씬 다양해졌으며 학생 및 교사의 정서와 체험에 관한 연구들이 지속적으로 늘어나고 있었다. 자료수집방법으로는 관찰과 면담과 함께 문헌자료를 가장 많이 활용하고 있었으며 대부분의 연구에서 유목적 표집을 통해 연구 참여자를 선정하고 있었다. 자료의 진실성은 Lincoln과 Guba(1985)가 제시한 기준을 주로 사용하고 있었으며, 연구의 참여자는 점차 증가하는 추세를 보였다.

영문 초록

The focus of this research study is the analysis of 201 qualitative research theses published in the Korean Sport Pedagogy Journal since 2000. Data analysis was conducted from July 2017 to May 2018. Content analysis was the study method used to analyze traditional research strategies, subjects, and methods. Results revealed that researchers used case studies and ethnography for traditional strategies; however, the introduction of a phenomenological research method in 2008 triggered the use of analytics and grounded theory approaches. Mixed-method and synthesized research methods were introduced as well. Study subjects varied, and researchers began to examine the experiences and perceptions of students and instructors. Regarding research method trends, in-depth interviews, observations, and literature reviews became popular for collecting data. Generally, researchers used more than one study method. Researchers selected study participants with purpose-driven sampling to a greater degree than previously. To prove the reliability of a study, researchers typically used criteria introduced by Lincoln and Guba(1985).
