유학생과 한국대학생의 진로적응력과 학업적 자기효능감이 대학생활적응에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

대학생활적응은 학업 및 진로 문제와 유기적 관계를 맺고 있음에도 불구하고, 외국인 유학생과 한국대학생의 대학생활적응에 이러한 요인들이 어떻게 영향을 미치는지에 대한 논의는 부족한 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 유학생과 한국대학생의 대학생 활적응과 진로적응력, 그리고 학업적 자기효능감 간의 관계를 알아보았다. 부산시 B 대학에 재학 중인 학생 392명을 대상으로 2018년 6월에 실시하였다. 그 중 응답 84부는 제외하고 외국인 유학생 156명과 한국대학생 222명의 설문 결과를 분석하였다. 외국인 유학생의 경우는 베트남인과 중국인이었고, 3, 4학년이 많았다. 진로적응력, 학업적 자기효능감, 대학생활적응 검사가 시행되었으며, 외국인 유학생 용 검사는 자국언어로 번역과 역번역의 과정을 거쳐 사용되었다. 그 결과 유학생과 한국대학생의 경우 대학생활적응에 있어 사회체험에서 차이가 있었으며, 학업적 자기효능감에는 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 진로적응력에서 한국대학생이 진로관심이 더 높았으며, 두 집단 모두에게 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향력이 큰 변인은 진로관심, 진로호기심, 학업적 자기효능감으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

University life adaptation has an correlation with academic and career problems. Nevertheless, there is a lack of discussion on how these factors affect to the university life adaptation of international and Korean students. In this study, the relationship among university life adjustment, career adaptability, and academic self-efficacy of international and Korean students was examined. A survey was conducted for 392 students studying at B university in Busan on June of 2018. Except for 84 replies, the results of the questionnaires of 156 international students and 222 Korean students were analyzed. International students were Vietnamese and Chinese. And most of them were in third and fourth grade. The research tools used were career adaptation, academic self-efficacy and university adjustment test. International students tests were used in the native language through translation and reverse translation. As a result, there were differences in the social experience in the university life adaptation between the international students and Korean college students, and there was no difference in the academic self-efficacy. Korean college students showed higher scores in career interest as a sub-factor of career adaptation. In both groups, the variables that had a great impact on college life adaptation were career interest, career curiosity and academic self-efficacy.
