국문 초록

본 연구는 스마트폰 의존 경향이 높은 중학생들을 대상으로 스마트폰 과의존과 사이버불링 가해행동 관계에서 자기조절력의 매개 및 조절효과를 검증하는데 목적을 둔 실증적 조사연구이다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 경남 창원시에 재학 중 인 중학교 1~3학년 341명을 연구대상으로 선정하여 2018년 9월 10일부터 14일까지 5일 간 설문조사를 수행하였다. 수집된 설문자료는 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도 분석, 신뢰도 검증, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀, 위계적 조절회귀분석을 실시하여 다음과 같은 연구결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 스마트폰 과의존, 자기조절력, 사이버불링 가해행동 간의 유의한 관련성이 나타났고, 스마트폰 과의존과 자기조절력은 사이버불링 가해행동을 설명하는 유의한 변인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 스마트폰 과의존과 사이버불링 가해행동 관계에서 자기조절력의 부분매개효과 및 조절효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 사이버불링 가해행동이 학교폭력의 새로운 형태로 부각되고 있는 시점에서 청소년들이 스마트폰 과의존에서 벗어나 건강한 사회인으로 성장할 수 있도록 다양한 스마트폰 과의존 예방교육 프로그램과 자기조절력 향상 프로그램을 지속적으로 적용하는 방안을 검토해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The objective of this empirical study is to verify the mediating/moderating effects of self-regulation on the relation between smartphone overdependence and cyber bullying behavior, targeting middle school students highly depending on smartphone. To achieve the objective of this study, a survey was conducted targeting total 341 middle school students(Grade1-3) in Changwon-si, Kyeongnam for five days from September 10th to October 14th 2018. Using the SPSS Program for the collected data, the frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and hierarchical moderating regression analysis were conducted, and the results of this study were drawn as follows. First, there were significant correlations of smartphone overdependence, self-regulation, and cyber bullying behavior, and smartphone smartphone and self-regulation were the significant variables explaining the cyber bullying behavior. Second, the partial mediating effects and moderating effects of self-regulation were significant on the relation between smartphone overdependence and cyber bullying behavior. As the cyber bullying behavior is highlighted as a new form of school violence, it would be necessary to review the measures for continuously applying diverse programs for the prevention of smartphone overdependence and the improvement of self-regulation, so that the adolescents could grow into healthy members of society after getting out of the smartphone overdependence.
