국문 초록

본 연구는 육아정책연구소(KICCE)에서 수집한 한국아동패널 8차년도 자료 중 아동기 자녀를 둔 맞벌이가정 아버지 589명을 대상으로 일-가정 갈등과 일-가족 향상의 잠재프로파일을 살펴보기 위해 수행되었다. 사람중심의 잠재프로파일분석(LPA)을 실시한 결과, 3개의 잠재프로파일은 일-가정 향상우수집단(13.1%), 일-가정 향상 집단(51.6%), 일-가정 갈등집단(35.3%)으로 구성됨을 확인하였다. 특히 이들 집단 중 위기집단이라 할 수 있는 일-가정 갈등집단에 대한 구체적인 선별과 개입이 요구되었다. 다항로지스틱 분석 결과, 아동의 정서행동문제 수준이 높고 학업성적이 낮을수록 일-가정 향상우수집단이나 일-가정 향상집단 보다 일-가정 갈등집단에 속할 가능성이 높았다. 본 연구는 아동기 자녀를 둔 맞벌이가정 아버지의 일과 가정 간 경험에 따른 다양한 하위 집단을 보다 입체적으로 파악하였으며, 하위집단 구분에 있어서 아동의 적응이 중요한 예측변인이 된다는 측면에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study examined work-family conflict and work-family enrichment in a sample of dual-income fathers with children(N=589). Adapting a person-centered latent profile approach, I identified three profiles of work-family conflict and work-family enrichment: work-family enrichment excellent group(13.1%), work-family enrichment group(51.6%), work-family conflict group(35.3%). Results from multinomial logistic regression analyses revealed that, with the work-family enrichment excellent group or work-family enrichment group as the reference group, children s high emotional behavioral problems and low academic performance was linked to a higher probability of membership in the work-family conflict group. The significance of this study is that the diversity of sub-profiles according to father s work–family experiences of dual-income fathers with children was dimensionally grasped and child adaptation is the most critical predictor of membership in the work-family conflict group.
