부적응적 완벽주의와 발표불안의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 고학년 학생의 부적응적 완벽주의와 발표불안의 관계에서 자기수용과 수치심의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 서울특별시 및 경기도에 소재한 초등학교 6학년 학생 362명을 대상으로 2017년 12월 8일부터 31일까지 수집한 자료를 이용해 주요 변인들의 기술통계와 상관분석을 실시하고 측정모형 및 연구모형을 검증하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주요 변인 간의 상관관계는 모두 유의미하게 나타났다. 둘째, 초등학교 고학년 학생의 부적응적 완벽주의와 발표불안의 관계에서 자기수용과 수치심의 부분매개효과가 확인되었다. 이를 구체적으로 제시하면, 자기수용과 수치심이 각각 부적응적 완벽주의와 발표불안의 관계를 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 동시에 자기수용이 수치심을 거쳐 발표불안에 순차적 부분매개효과를 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 초등학교 고학년 학생의 발표불안 예방과 치료를 위한 상담 프로그램을 구성할 때 부적응적 완벽주의, 자기수용 및 수치심을 다차원적으로 고려할 필요가 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effect of self-acceptance and shame in the relationship between maladaptive perfectionism and speech anxiety. For the purpose of this study, the data were collected from 362 6th grade students from 8 elementary schools in Seoul and Gyeonggi areas. Cronbach s alpha, descriptive statistics, and correlation coefficient were calculated using SPSS 23.0 and then structural equation model(SEM) was tested using AMOS 22.0. In order to examine significance of mediating effects, the bootstrapping was used. The results of analysis were as follows: First, there were meaningful correlations among maladaptive perfectionism, speech anxiety, self-acceptance, and shame. Second, self-acceptance and shame had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between maladaptive perfectionism and speech anxiety. Specifically, self-acceptance and shame both had a partial mediating effect and at the same time self-acceptance and shame had a sequential mediating effect in the relationship between maladaptive perfectionism and speech anxiety. These results suggest that it is required to consider maladaptive perfectionism, self-acceptance, and shame in developing counseling program for reducing children’s speech anxiety.
