이솝이야기에 기초한 교육연극 활동이 유아의 자기표현력에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 이솝이야기에 기초한 교육연극 활동이 유아의 자기표현력 향상에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 것이다. 연구대상은 K지역 소재 O유치원에 재원중인 만 3세 유아 16명이다. 이 중 실험집단인 8명의 유아에게 연구자가 개발한 이솝이야기에 기초한 교육연극 활동 교수모형을 2018년 4월 2일부터 5월 26일까지 8주간 총 30회 적용하였다. 자기표현력은 변창진과 김성회가 재구성한 척도를 활용하여 활동 사전 사후 2회 측정하였고, 실험집단과 비교집단 간 차이를 살펴보기 위해 Mann-Whitney검정을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 이솝이야기에 기초한 교육연극 활동으로 인해 실험집단과 비교집단 간 ‘자기표현력 음성언어’ 항목과 ‘자기표현력 신체언어’ 항목에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. ‘자기표현력 내용언어’에 있어서는 실험집단과 비교집단 간의 유의한 차이가 없었으나 실험집단 간 내에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 본 연구는 이솝이야기에 기초한 교육연극 활동 교수모형이 만 3세 유아의 자기표현력 향상에 유의한 효과가 있음을 입증하였다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다. 향후, 교육연극 활동과 유아의 자기표현력 증진 교수모형에 관한 후속 연구의 기초가 되고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of educational play activity based on Aesop story on the improvement of self-expression of young children. The subjects of this study were 16 infants aged 3 in the O kindergarten located in K district. The teaching and learning model of educational play activity based on Aesop story developed by researchers was applied to 8 infant in experimental groups. The period was 8 weeks from April 2, 2018 to May 26, 2018 and applied 30 times in total. Self-expressive ability was measured by two measures of pre-test and post-test using the reconstructed scale of Byun and Kim(1980). The Mann-Whitney test was performed to examine the differences between the experimental group and the comparison group. As a result, there was a significant difference in the items of self-expressive phonetic language and self-expressive body language between the experimental group and the comparative group due to the educational play activities based on the Aesop story. There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the comparative group in self-expressive content language . However, there was a statistically significant difference between the experimental groups. This study proved that the teaching-learning model of educational play activity based on Aesop story has a meaningful effect on the improvement of self-expression of 3 year old infants. In the future, we intend to be the basis of the follow up study on the teaching-learning model for educational paly activity and improving the self - expression of young children
