대학생의 비합리적 신념과 계획된 우연기술의 관계에 영향을 미치는 진로적응성의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 비합리적 신념과 계획된 우연기술의 관계에서 진로적응성의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2018년 4월부터 5월까지 수도권과 비수도권 소재지의 대학생 각각 102명씩 총 204명을 대상으로 자료 수집을 하였고 상관분석 및 매개회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 비합리적 신념, 진로적응성, 계획된 우연기술 간의 유의한 상관관계가 나타났다. 특히 비합리적 신념의 성취 편안함 욕구와 진로적응성의 진로호기심, 그리고 진로적응성의 진로자신감과 계획된 우연기술의 인내심이 유의하게 더 높은 상관을 보였다. 또한 대학생의 비합리적 신념과 계획된 우연기술과의 관계에서 진로적응성은 매개변인과 독립변인 모두 유의하고 독립변인 회귀계수 값이 2단계보다 3단계에서 감소하여 부분 매개효과 조건을 충족시켰다. 이는 대학생의 비합리적 신념이 계획된 우연기술에 부적인 영향을 미치기도 하지만, 진로적응성을 통해서도 간접적인 영향을 미침을 설명하고 있다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구의 의의와 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The aim of the present study was to assess the mediating effects of career adaptability on the relationship between college students’ irrational beliefs and planned happenstance skills. The subjects were a total of 204 students, 102 students from metropolitan and non-capital areas, respectively. For analysis, correlation and multiple analysis were performed. The results showed the following: First, irrational beliefs, career adaptability and planned happenstance skills showed a significant correlations. Specifically, the need for achievement and comfort of irrational beliefs and curiosity of career adaptability, confidence of career adaptability and persistence of planned happenstance skills had significantly high correlations. Second, Career adaptability partially mediated the relationship between irrational beliefs and planned happenstance. The result showed that irrational beliefs of college students had negative impact on planned happenstance skills but also influence it indirectly through career adaptability, the mediating variable. Lastly, limitations of the study and suggestions for future research are discussed.
