영문 초록

This paper focuses on "tourism" from a less developed country going to a more developed one. Specifically, it focuses on the third world tourist s travel motivations and experiences in the destination countries. The researcher did online ethnography, specifically using key informant interviews over a 6-month period. The paper presents the social, economic and political contexts in the country of origin, which largely determines the types of tourist motivations. It also discusses the types of tourist experiences in the destination area as determined by power relations between hosts and guests, with the first world having the upper hand, whether they are guests or hosts in the touristic transactions.
