영문 초록
In this paper will explore the links between constructing the sustainable development and using some models or indicators, as tourism and environmental indicators, which compose the based framework for constructing further the carrying capacity assessment. All this will serve as a methodological guide for sustainability. The efforts to create a methodological guide need to be support by a tourism information system, which in Albanian case is no sufficient in furnishing the data. The main goal is to successfully, develop and promote the regions as Berat, Vlora or Durres, as sustainable tourism destinations ("destination management")-initiated through a participative and integrated strategy of regional marketing and efficient tourism management structures.
The result of this paper expands the current understanding of the field about sustainable community tourism by developing monitoring systems, and sustainability indicator factor for rural community tourism development.
There is no doubt that the notion of sustainable development in Albanian in general, and special in rural areas and communities within the country, will be more practical application such as management, planning, monitoring system especially in particular in the local levels of the country, if the indicators are applied.
