영문 초록

People's dominant travel styles are various across different countries. Westerners are used to stay in a resort for a whole vacation, while Orientals, especially Chinese people, usually visit a group of famous and interesting destinations during a single tour. The current research accordingly indicate that such various travel preferences are not only demonstrated in socially dominant travel styles, but also in most commonly used words and idioms, names of official tourism organization, and official tourism statistics. The paper further probed into the determinants of the socially dominant travel style, and found that cultural concepts, social circumstance, geography condition, economic status, psychological complication, and scientific & technology standards are the six determinants of the socially dominant travel style. This article also implies the process that the six factors act on the formalization of social main travel style.
