국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 개별화된 활동프로그램이 중등도 지적장애 초등학생의 의사소통과 대인관계에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 방법 연구대상은 전남의 초등학교 특수학급 재학생 총 68명 중 4명(여 2명, 남 2명)을 표집하였다. 대상선별에 따른 주요 조건은 중등도 지적장애 학생으로서 자기의 욕구를 표현하는 정도의 구어사용이 가능한 경우로 한정하였다. 본 연구에서 사용된 연구방법은 사전⋅사후검사에 따른 A-B-C 설계였고, 총 35회의 프로그램 중 매 7회기마다 검사가 실시되어 총 5회가 이루어졌다. 결과 결과의 처리는 A-B-C 설계에 따라 사전⋅사후검사를 통한 비교분석이 이루어졌으며, 사전⋅사후검사의 평균차에 대한 유의도는 t검증으로 하였다. 결론 첫째, 본 연구에서 실시한 개별화된 활동프로그램은 중등도 지적장애 초등학생들의 대인관계 발달에 효과적이였다. 둘째, 본 연구에서 실시한 개별화된 활동프로그램은 중등도 지적장애 초등학생들의 의사소통 발달에 효과적이였다. 셋재, 본 연구에서 실시한 개별화된 활동프로그램은 중등도 지적장애 초등학생들의 대인관계관련 과제가 의사소통 과제보다 사회성 발달에 더 큰 영향을 미쳤다.

영문 초록

Objectives The objective of this study was to understand the effects of a individualized activity program on the communication and interpersonal development of elementary school students with an moderate intellectual disability. Methods The subjects of this study were four students (2 female and 2 males) enrolled in elementary school special class in Jeollanam-do. The subjects were elementary school students with a moderate intellectual disability and capable of expressing their desires verbally. This study used an A-B-C design based on the pretest and posttest design. Subjects were tested every 7 sessions (5 times) among the 35 sessions of the program. Results The results were compared using the rater mean score of pretest and posttest according to the A-B-C design. The significant difference between the pretest mean and posttest mean was determined using a t-test. Conclusions First, the individualized activity program conducted in this study was effective in developing the interpersonal skills of elementary school students with an moderate intellectual disability. Second, the individualized activity program conducted in this study was effective in developing the communication skills of elementary school students with an moderate intellectual disability. Third, the interpersonal skill-related tasks of the individualized activity program conducted in this study affected the social development of elementary school students with an moderate intellectual disability more than the communicative function-related tasks of the program did.
