발달장애 아동⋅청소년의 사회성, 정서지능, 자기표현이 또래관계에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 발달장애 아동⋅청소년의 장애정도와 치료영역에 따른 사회성, 정서지능, 자기표현, 또래관계의 특성을 파악함과 동시에 관련변수가 또래관계에 영향을 미치는 상대적 영향을 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 방법 본 연구는 D광역시 4개의 사설치료기관과 2개의 장애인입소 시설을 중심으로 만3세~만18세의 발달장애 아동⋅청소년을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 코딩과 데이터 크리닝 과정을 거쳐 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 사용하여 신뢰도 분석, 빈도분석, F-검증, 기술통계 분석, 상관관계 분석, 위계적 회귀 분석을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 발달장애 아동⋅청소년들의 관련변인의 평균을 살펴보면 사회성과 정서지능은 5점 Likert에서 각각 3.30, 3.27로 평균이상을 보였으나, 자기표현과 또래관계는 각각 2.04, 2.59의 평균수준 이하를 보였다. 둘째, 본 연구의 관련변인들의 상관관계 분석결과 사회성, 정서지능 전체와 모든 하위변인은 유의미한 정적 상관을 보였으며 자기표현 전체는 음성적 자기표현과 비언어적 자기표현은 유의미한 부적 상관을 하위요인에 보였다. 셋째, 또래관계에 미치는 관련변인들의 상대적 영향은 모형1에서 통제변인인 장애정도가 또래관계에 영향을 미쳤고, 모형2에서는 사회성, 모형3과 모형4에서는 정서지능이 유의미하게 또래관계에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 정서지능은 또래관계에 미치는 상대적 영향이 큰 변수임을 알 수 있었다. 결론 첫째, 발달장애 아동⋅청소년의 학교생활에 잘 적응하고 또래관계를 향상시키기 위하여 사회성과 정서지능의 향상이 필요하며, 특히 또래관계에 미치는 정서지능이 상대적 영향력이 큰 변수로 나타나, 정서지능을 높이기 위하여 타인정서를 이해하고, 감정조절을 잘 할 수 있도록 학교와 가정에서도 적극적인 특수교육이 필요하다. 또한 장애정도에 맞는 치료프로그램의 개발과 적용이 필요하다. 둘째, 학교교육이나 특수 치료교육에서는 발단 단계와 생활연령에 적합하게 구성된 내용을 바탕으로 지속적이고 계획적인 사회정서 학습의 기회가 제공되어야 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of sociality, emotional intelligence, self-expression, and peer relationship according to the degree of disability and treatment area of children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, and at the same time examine the relative influence of related variables on the peer relationship. Methods This study conducted a questionnaire survey on children and adolescents with developmental disabilities between the ages of 3 and 18, centering on 4 private treatment centers and 2 facilities dedicated to disability in D Metropolitan City. Reliability analysis, frequency analysis, F-test, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis were performed using SPSS 25.0 program after coding and data cleaning process. Results First, looking at the average of related variables of children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, social performance and emotional intelligence were 3.30 and 3.27, respectively, above the average at 5-point Likert. Second, as a result of correlation analysis of the relevant variables in this study, all sub-variables of sociality and emotional intelligence showed a significant positive correlation, and for the total self-expression, negative self-expression and non-verbal self-expression showed a significant negative correlation as a sub-factor. Third, as for the relative influence of related variables on the peer relationship, the degree of disability, the control variable in Model 1, had an effect on the peer relationship. Conclusions First, it is necessary to improve social performance and emotional intelligence in order to adapt well to school life and improve peer relationships of children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. In order to understand other people s emotions and to manage emotions well, active special education is needed at school and at home. Second, in school education or special treatment education, a planned social-emotional learning opportunity should be provided suitable for the starting stage and life age.
