국문 초록

목적 대학생의 기본심리욕구와 대학생활적응은 행복을 예측하는 중요 요인이며 최근 변화하는 사회에 적응하기 위한 대학생의 강화된 진로인식과 활동은 진로결정자기효능감에 영향을 미친다. 따라서 이 연구는 대학생의 행복 증진의 경로를 심층적으로 이해하고자 기본심리욕구와 행복의 관계에서 진로결정자기효능감과 대학생활적응의 순차적 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 방법 연구목적을 달성하고자 경기도 소재 종합대학교 학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하였으며 총 833명의 수집된 자료 중 불성실 응답을 제외하고 829명의 자료를 최종 분석에 활용하였다. 성별에 따라 남학생은 21.9%, 여학생은 71.9%로 여학생의 비율이 높았으며, 학년별 구성은 유사하였다. 통계분석은 SPSS 26을 이용하여 기초통계분석을 시행하였고, SPSS PROCESS macro 모델 6번으로 표본을 복원추출하는 부트스트래핑 방식을 활용하여 이중매개효과의 유의성을 검정하였다. 결과 기본심리욕구는 행복을 유의하게 예측함과 동시에, 진로결정자기효능감과 대학생활적응이 변인 간 관계에서 각각 유의한 단순 매개효과를 나타냈다. 또한 진로결정효능감이 대학생활적응을 통해 행복에 영향을 미치는 경로가 통계적으로 유의하여 이중매개효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 결론 이는 대학생의 기본심리욕구를 충족시키는 것이 대학생의 발달과업인 진로탐색 및 진로결정에 대한 효능감을 높임으로써 대학생활적응 만족도를 향상시키고 궁극적으로 행복을 높이는 결과를 산출한다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 대학은 학생의 행복하고 적응적인 대학생활을 지원하기 위해 학생의 기본심리욕구를 충족시키고 진로활동에 효능감을 심어주는 방향으로 정책이 마련될 수 있도록 위 요소들이 중요하게 고려되어야 함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The basic psychological needs of college students and college adjustment are important factors in predicting happiness. And career decision making self-efficacy is affected by the reinforced career awareness and activities of college students to adapt to the changing society. Therefore, this study tried to examine the sequential mediating effects of career decision making self-efficacy and college adjustment in the relationship between basic psychological needs and happiness in order to understand more in depth of improving the happiness of college students. Methods In order to achieve the purpose of the study, a survey was conducted targeting university students located in Gyeonggi-do, and data from 829 people were used for the final analysis, excluding insincere responses from among the data collected from a total of 833 people. Data was composed of 21.9% of male students and 71.9% of female students, and the composition of each grade was similar. For statistical analysis, basic statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 26, and the significance of the serial mediation effect was tested using the bootstrapping method of recovering the sample with SPSS PROCESS macro model No. 6. Results As a result, basic psychological needs significantly predicted happiness. At the same time, showed significant simple mediating effects in the relationship between career decision self-efficacy and college life adaptation, respectively. In addition, the path of career decision efficacy affecting happiness through college life adjustment was statistically significant, confirming that there was a double mediating effect. Conclusions This suggests that satisfying the basic psychological needs of college students is a process that should be considered important in preparing college policies as it helps college students to decide their career path, which improves their satisfaction with college life and ultimately increases their sense of happiness.
