시니어 성악 평생교육 프로그램 운영에 관한 실행연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 시니어의 음악적 역량을 높이고 심리적인 안정감과 만족감을 제공하기 위하여, 성악 평생교육 프로그램의 설계, 실행, 그리고 교육적 결과와 효과를 살펴보려고 하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 연구자가 직접 연구를 실행하고 그 결과를 반복 검증하는 실행연구 방법을 사용하였다. 실행연구의 자료 수집에서는 연구자의 활동일지, 수업 녹화 자료, 학습자들과의 심층면담, 그리고 실제 수업 결과에 대한 문서 자료 등을 수집하였고, 자료 분석에서는 3차에 걸친 코딩과 연구자의 성찰과 분석적 메모를 통해 연구 주제를 도출하였다. 결과 연구 결과는 크게 세 가지로 나타난다. 첫째, 수업에 참여한 시니어의 특성과 성악의 교육적 특성을 결합하여 15차시에 이르는 시니어를 위한 성악 교육프로그램을 구안하였다. 둘째, 총 4회기에 걸쳐 실행연구의 핵심적인 과정인 실행과 성찰을 반복 수행하여 수업 프로그램의 문제점과 한계점을 보완하고, 성악 평생교육 프로그램의 잠정적 모델을 제시하였다. 셋째, 실행연구의 결과로서 성악 평생교육 프로그램의 효과, 교육에 참여한 시니어의 음악적, 심리적 변화, 그리고 성악 교육자로서 연구자 본인의 성장 내용을 서술하였다. 결론 본 연구를 통하여 고령화 사회의 핵심적인 사회 계층으로 자리 잡을 시니어를 위한 예술 분야에서의 다양한 평생교육 프로그램과 실천 사례들이 논의되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objectives In this study, we examined the design, implementation, educational results, and effects of a vocal lifelong education program in order to increase the musical ability of seniors and to provide psychological stability and satisfaction. Methods An action research method in which the researcher directly conducts the study and repeatedly verifies the results was used. In the data collection of the action research, the researcher s activity log, class recording data, in-depth interviews with learners, and document data about the actual class results were collected. In the data analysis, the research topic was derived through three rounds of coding and the researcher s reflection and analytical memos. Results The results of this study are mainly divided into three categories. First, the vocal music education program for seniors up to 15 hours was devised by combining the characteristics of seniors who participated in the class and the educational characteristics of vocal music. Second, the problems and limitations of the class program were supplemented by repeating execution and reflection, which are the core processes of action research, over a total of four sessions, and a provisional model of the vocal music lifelong education program was presented. Third, the effects of the voice lifelong education program, the musical and psychological changes of the seniors who participated in the education, and the researcher s own growth as a vocal educator as a result of the action research were described. Conclusions Through this study, it is expected that various lifelong education programs and practice cases will be discussed in the field of art for seniors who will become a key social class in an aging society.
