국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 대학생의 의사소통능력, 대인관계 유능성, 감성지능, 자기효능감 간의 구조관계 모형의 적합성을 살펴보고, 의사소통과 자기효능감 두 변인 간의 관계에서 대인관계 유능성, 감성지능의 매개 역할을 검증하고자 하였다. 방법 편의 표집 방식을 활용하였고, 전라북도 지역에 재학증인 대학생 260명을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 연구자가 직접 대상자들에게 연구의 목적과 방법을 설명하고, 연구 참여에 동의한 학생이 직접 온라인(구글닥스) 설문지에 응답하도록 하였다. 설문지를 제작할 때 모든 문항에 반드시 응답한 후에 다음 문항으로 진행될 수 있도록 설정하여 탈락률은 없었고, 총 260명의 대상자가 응답하여 수집된 자료 260부를 분석에 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 23.0과 AMOS 23.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 결과 대학생의 의사소통능력, 대인관계 유능성, 감성지능, 자기효능감 간의 구조모형은 적합한 것으로 확인되었다. 의사소통능력이 자기효능감에 미치는 영향에 대하여 감성지능은 매개 역할을 수행하는 것으로 나타났으며, 의사소통능력이 자기효능감에 미치는 영향에 대하여 대인관계 유능성은 매개하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 결론 대학생들의 의사소통능력과 자기효능감을 살펴본 점과 대인관계 유능성과 감성지능의 매개효과를 밝힘으로써, 의사소통능력과 자기효능감과의 관계에서 관계적 역량보다 자기인식 역량이 영향을 미치며, 온라인상으로도 의사소통능력을 키울 수 있는 프로그램을 개발해야 할 필요성을 확인하였다. 대학생의 사회생활에 능동적으로 대처할 수 있도록 자기인식역량 필요성에 대한 토대를 마련했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study examines the suitability of the structural relationship model between communication ability, interpersonal competence, emotional intelligence, and self-efficacy of college students, and verifies the mediating role of interpersonal competence and emotional intelligence in the relationship between communication and self-efficacy variables. Methods For convenience sampling, 260 college students enrolled in Jeollabuk-do were selected as the research subjects. The researcher directly explained the purpose and method of the study to the subjects, and the students who agreed to participate in the study directly responded to the online (Google Docs) questionnaire. When preparing the questionnaire, it was set to proceed to the next question after all questions were answered, so there was no dropout rate. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0. Results The structural model among the communication ability, interpersonal competence, emotional intelligence, and self-efficacy of college students was confirmed to be appropriate. Emotional intelligence was found to play a mediating role in the relationship between communication ability and self-efficacy. In addition, it was confirmed that interpersonal competence had no mediating effect in the relationship between communication ability and self-efficacy. Conclusions This study reveals the mediating effect between communication ability and self-efficacy, interpersonal competence, and emotional intelligence of college students. The necessity of developing a program to enhance communication skills using online in non-face-to-face situations was confirmed. It is meaningful in that it can lay the foundation for the need for self-awareness competency so that college students can actively cope with social life.
