문학공간의 교육적 활용 방안 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 교육환경의 변화 속에서 문학교육이 나아가야 할 방향을 재정립하는 과정 중 하나이다. 기존 문학교육에 대한 반성적 성찰을 통해 창의·융합 인재 양성을 기치로 내건 2015 개정 교육과정의 지향점을 토대로 문학교육의 새로운 방법론을 제시하는 것이다. 문화콘텐츠의 범람과 문화산업의 폭발적 성장과 함께 지역문학 혹은 지역학이 부상하면서 정전 중심의 구조주의적인 문학교육이 아닌, 실제적이고 현실적이며 시의적인 문학교육이 필요하다. 그에 대한 해답으로 ‘문학공간’을 활용하는 것을 제안한다. 그 교육적인 방법론으로 ‘서비스러닝(Service Learning)’의 틀을 적용하는 것을 제안한다. 이를 위해 우선, 2015 개정 문학 교육과정과 교과서를 비판적으로 검토해보았다. 총 10종의 문학교과서 중 5종에서 문학공간을 제시하고 있는데, 내용 제시 방법과 학습활동 등에서 일관성이 없이 제시되고 있다. 그리하여 지역의 문학공간과 학교와 학습자의 협력을 바탕으로 서비스러닝을 문학공간에서 시행해보는 방법을 구안해 보았다. ‘예비-준비-활동-마무리-환류’의 다섯 단계로 진행되는 본 방안은 지역 문학에 대한 관심과 지역에 대한 자부심을 향상시킬 수 있고, 문학과 관련한 진로 탐색도 가능하며 문학을 활용한 문화산업을 직접 체험할 수 있다. 또한 학교 내에 머물러 있는 시야를 지역 사회로 넓히고 암기와 분석 중심의 문학이 아닌 삶의 문학으로 문학을 향유할 수 있다. 지역의 문학공간들과 운영기관들은 서비스러닝의 학습자들을 통해 문학 시장의 확대를 도모할 수 있고, 업무 보조를 통해 업무 능률을 향상시킬 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study consists of a process of redefining the direction that literary education should take in the changing educational environment. It attempts to suggest a new literary education methodology based on the goal of the 2015 revised curriculum, which strives to foster creative and convergent talents through reflection on existing literary education. The cultural industry is experiencing an explosive growth and an abundance of cultural contents. Thus, a rise in regional literature or regional studies is needed to provide practical, realistic, and timely literary education, rather than structured blackout-centered literary education. The answer is to use “literary space”. The educational methodology delineated in this study applies the framework of “Service Learning”. First, I attempted to critically review the 2015 revised literature curriculum and textbooks. Although five out of ten literary textbooks present literary spaces, the content presentation and learning activity methods are inconsistent, and the handling method differs significantly. Thus, based on the cooperation between local literary spaces, schools and learners, a methodology for conducting service learning in literary spaces was presented. This plan, which is conducted in five stages including ”Preliminary”, “Ready ”, “Activity”, “Finish” and Feedback”, can increase interest in local literature and self-esteem in the region, and in exploring literature-related careers. Further, it can enable people to experience cultural industries using literature directly. In addition, it can broaden views toward staying in school within the community and serve as encouragement to enjoy literature which centers on life rather than on memorization and analysis. Local literary spaces and operating institutions can promote the expansion of the literary market through service learning students and improve work efficiency through work aid.
