국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생 대상 효과적인 글쓰기 교육을 위하여 대학생들의 글쓰기 관련 요구도를 조사 및 분석함으로써 시사점을 도출하는 것이 목적이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 필요수준과 현재 수준을 파악하기 위한 설문지를 개발하였고, 이를 기반으로 하여 대학생의 교육요구도를 조사하였다. 그런데 보다 종합적인 분석을 위하여 교과 영역과 비교과 영역으로 분리하여 각각 요구도를 조사하였다. 이어서 종이 설문을 통하여 응답한 436명의 응답지에 대하여 분석하였다. 설문지 분석방법으로는 빈도분석, 기술통계, t-검정, F-검정, Borich 요구도 공식 및 The Locus for Focus 모델을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, H대학의 교과영역 학습자의 요구도는 ‘개요작성’, ‘문단 글쓰기’, ‘논증적 글쓰기’, ‘보고서 쓰기’, ‘문장 글쓰기’의 순서로 높았다. 둘째, H대학의 비교과영역 학습자의 요구도는 ‘보고서 쓰기’, ‘소개하는 글쓰기’, ‘논증적 글쓰기’, ‘글 다듬기’, ‘개요작성’의 순서로 높았다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 글쓰기교육에 있어서 국어사전의 적극적인 활용, 독서 활동의 강조, 긴 글쓰기 훈련의 강조, 수준별 글쓰기 교재 개발 등을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to derive implications by surveying and analyzing the requirements related to writing of university students for effective writing education for university students. In order to achieve this goal, a questionnaire was developed to identify the required and current levels, and based on this, the educational needs of university students were investigated. However, for a more comprehensive analysis, the requirements were examined separately from the subject area and the comparative area. The paper survey was also used to analyze 436 respondents’ answers. Frequency analysis, technical statistics, t-test, F-test, Borich demand formula, and the Locus for Focus model were used as methods for questionnaire analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, the demand of learners in the subject area of H University was highest, in the following order, for “over-the-topic writing,” “paragraph writing,” “discriminatory writing,” “report writing,” and “writing sentences.” Second, the demand of non-disciplinary learners at H University was highest, in the following order, for: “report writing,” “introduction writing,” “discipline writing,” “painting writing,” and “overwriting.” Based on the results of these studies, the active use of Korean language dictionaries in writing education, emphasis on reading activities, emphasis on long writing training, and development of writing textbooks by level were proposed.
