생태학적 교육과정의 생활기술과 특수교육 기본교육과정의 학년군별 교과 성취기준과의 연계성 분석

국문 초록

지적 및 발달장애학생을 위한 생활기술 지도는 현재 환경뿐만 아니라 미래의 가정, 학교, 지역사회, 직장 등 다양한 생활환경에서 독립생활을 할 수 있게 함으로써 궁극적으로 장애학생의 삶의 질과 특수교육의 효과를 높이기 위해 특수교육에서 중요하게 다루어져야 하는 교육영역이다. 본 연구는 생태학적 교육과정의 생활영역별 생활기술과 특수교육 기본교육과정의 학년군별 교과 성취기준과의 연계성을 분석하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 특수교육 기본교육과정모든 학년군의 교과 성취기준 1,130개 중 생태학적 생활기술과 관련 있는 성취기준 350개를 선정하였고, 생태학적 교육과정의 생활기술 67개와 연계성을 분석한 결과 가정생활은 117개, 학교생활은 114개, 지역사회생활은 75개, 직업생활은 44개로 나타났다. 또한 생태학적 교육과정의 생활기술은 특수교육 기본교육과정의 2개 학년군 이상에서 교과 성취기준과 연계하여 계속적으로 가르칠 수 있었고, 동일 학년군에서 2개 이상의 교과 성취기준과 연계·통합할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 교과별 성취기준 중심의 특수교육 기본교육과정 운영 체제 안에서 생태학적 생활환경 중심의 생활기술과 연계·통합하여 체계적으로 가르칠 수 있는 교육과정 재구성 근거를 마련하였다는 데 의의가 있으며, 향후 특수교육 기본교육과정 개정 시 참고자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Teaching functional life skills to students with intellectual and developmental disabilities increases the independent living abilities of the students in various living environments so that it can improve their quality of life and ultimately lead to the positive results of special education. The purpose of this study was to analyze the functional life skills of the ecological curriculum by living environments and their connection to the subject achievement standards of the Special Education Basic Curriculum by school grades as a way that can teach functional life skills to students with disabilities systematically and effectively. For this purpose, 350 out of 1,130 subject achievement standards for each school grade were selected for the Special Education Basic Curriculum, and the association of subject achievement standards with each school grade s was analyzed based on 67 living skills functions. And the analysis found that 117 were for home life, 114 for school life, 75 for community life, and 44 for vocational life. It was also found that the functional life skills of the ecological curriculum could be continuously connected in two or more school year groups of the Special Education Basic Curriculum, and that it could be connected and integrated with two or more subjects in the same school year group. These results are meaningful because they can provide a basis for the reorganization of the National curriculum so that life skills of ecological living environments can be systematically taught within the education system of the Special Education Basic Curriculum.
