국문 초록

본 연구에서는 실과 ‘가정생활’ 분야와 지속가능발전교육의 관련성을 통합적 관점으로 검토하고, 또한 이를 바탕으로 일본가정과와 함께 비교 분석함으로써, 우리나라 실과 ‘가정생활’ 분야에 있어 지속가능발전교육의 보다 폭넓은 가능성을 도출해 내고자 하는 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 한국의 2015 개정 실과 교육과정과 일본의 2017 개정 학습지도요령 가정편이며, 분석기준으로는 西原 등(2017)이 정립한 가정과의 지속가능발전교육 구성개념 ‘인간을 둘러싼 환경에 관한 개념’의 ‘다양성’, ‘상호성’, ‘유한성’, ‘인간의 의지·행동에 관한 개념’의 ‘공평성’, ‘연계성’, ‘책임성’을 사용하여 양국의 교육과정에 제시되어 있는 영역별 학습 요소에 대한 각 구성개념과의 관련성을 분석하여 각 교과내용에 대해 통합적 관점으로의 지속가능발전교육의 가능성을 검토하였다. 그 결과, 한국의 실과 ‘가정생활’ 분야와 일본의 가정과 모두 영역별로 다수의 학습 요소에서 통합적 지속가능발전교육 구성개념과의 관련성을 확인할 수 있었으며 이를 바탕으로 한 양국의 비교분석으로 공통점과 차이점을 통하여 시사점을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the “home life” field of practical arts education in Korea and the relevance of sustainable development education from an integrated point of view, and to draw out a broader possibility of sustainable development education in Korean practical arts education through comparative analysis with Japanese home economics education. The subjects of the study are Korea’s 2015 revised practical arts curriculum and Japan’s 2017 revised home economics curriculum. The analysis tools are “diversity,” “interaction,” “finiteness” of “concepts on the environment surrounding human beings,” and “fairness,” “cooperation,” and “responsibility” of “concepts on human will and actions” for the concepts of sustainable development education in homes economics established by Nishihara (2017). This was used to analyze the relevance of each concept to each of the learning elements for each area presented in the curriculum of the two countries and to review the possibility of sustainable development education from an integrated point of view for each subject. As a result, we were able to identify the relevance of the concept of integrated sustainable development education in both the “home life” field of practical arts in Korea and the subject of home economics in Japan. It also proposed implications through commonalities and differences that were derived through comparisons between the two countries.
