보육교사의 사직과 복직의 경험

국문 초록

본 연구는 어린이집 장기 미종사자 직무교육에 참여한 대상자들을 대상으로 어린이집 사직과 이직의 경험 및 복직을 준비하면서 바라는 사항에 대한 이야기를 들어보기 위해 2020년 부산 처음으로 실시한 어린이집 장기 미종사자 직무교육에 참여한 교육생 54명 중 8명을 연구 참여자로 선정하여 각 1회의 집단면담과 개인 심층면담으로 진행하였으며, 연구 참여자들의 이야기를 폭넓게 들어보기 위해 반 구조화된 면담방식을 실시하였다. 자료 분석결과 보육교사를 그만 두게 된 이유로는 자녀 육아에 전념하기 위해, 업무로 인한 스트레스, 관계로 인한 스트레스, 학부모들의 무시 등의 이유가 있었으며, 다시 복직하면서 바라는 사항은 보육에만 전념할 수 있는 환경, 처우개선 및 근로복지, 보육교사 양성과정에 대한 강화, 인성교육 강화 등이 있었다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 여전히 만연해 있는 보육현장의 문제점을 깨닫고, 우수한 교사가 보육현장을 떠나는 것을 예방하고, 보육의 질을 높이는데 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study selected eight out of 54 students who participated in the job education for long-term unworked worker in child care centers for the first time in Busan in 2020 as research participants to hear about their experiences in resigning and changing jobs and what they wanted while preparing for reinstatement, and conducted one group interview and one in-depth discussion of individual participants. According to the data analysis, the reasons for quitting child care teachers were to concentrate on child care, stress from work, relationship, and disregard from parents, and what they wanted to do when they returned to work were the environment where they could concentrate on child care, the improvement of treatment and labor welfare, the strengthening of child care teacher training courses, and the strengthening of personality education. Through the results of this study, we hope to realize the problems of child care sites that are still prevalent, to be used as basic data to prevent excellent teachers from leaving child care sites and to improve the quality of child care.
