간호학 논문에 나타난 ‘전문간호역량’ 관련 질적 내용 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 간호학 학술지에 수록된 논문에 나타난 ‘전문간호역량’의 실제적 의미(meaning)를 파악하기 위해 연역적 내용분석기법을 적용한 질적 연구이며, 우리나라 간호전문직 재정립을 위한 기초 자료를 마련하고자 수행하였다. 분석 대상은 한국간호행정학회 학술지에 수록된 논문 252편이었고, 분석 단위는 논문의 주요 용어 총 1,036개를 선정하였다. 1단계 분석은 빈도 분석과 개념의 분류 및 그룹화를 통해 83개의 그룹 개념을 추출하였고, 2단계 분석은 ICN의 전문간호역량 개념틀에 근거하여 전문간호역량의 실제적 의미를 분석하였다. 1단계 빈도 분석결과 ‘간호사’ 그룹 개념이 압도적으로 높은 빈도(142)를 나타냈고, 다음은 간호연구(68), 환자안전(56), 병원(36), 간호(32) 순으로 확인되었다. 일부 용어는 MeSH(Medical Subject Headings) 용어에 포함되지 않아 키워드 선정과 관련하여 일관성 있는 가이드라인의 필요성을 확인하였다. ICN 전문간호역량 개념틀에 의한 2단계 분석결과는 17개 세부역량 중 한국간호행정학회 학술지에 수록된 논문에 나타난 전문간호역량은 사회적 책무성, 윤리적 간호실무, 리더십과 관리, 환자를 위한 환경안전, 전문성 강화 등 5개 역량에 집중되어 있음을 확인하였다. 또한, 리더십과 관리 역량은 ICN 전문간호역량의 개념틀에는 환자를 위한 환경안전역량, 보건의료직종 간 협력역량, 위임과 관리감독역량 등 3가지 역량으로 구성되어 있지만 본 연구 결과 간호행정학회 논문에 나타난 리더십과 관리역량은 환자를 위한 환경안전역량에 상당 부분 치우쳐 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study is a qualitative study using the deductive content analysis technique to grasp the actual meaning of professional nursing competency in the papers published in the journal of nursing science. This was done to prepare basic data for re-establishing nursing professions in Korea. The subject of analysis was 252 papers published in the Journal of Korean Academy of Nursing Administration, and the analysis unit selected a total of 1,036 major terms of the paper. In the first stage analysis, 83 group concepts were extracted through frequency analysis and concept classification and grouping. The two-step analysis was based on the ICN s concept of professional nursing competency. As a result of the first-level frequency analysis, the concept of the group of nursers showed an overwhelmingly high frequency (142), followed by nursing research (68), patient safety (56), hospital (36), and nursing (32). Some terms were not included in the term MESH (Medical Subject Headings), confirming the need for consistent guidelines regarding keyword selection. As a result of the two-step analysis based on the ICN professional nursing competency concept frame, the professional nursing competency shown in the thesis published in the Journal of Korean Society of Nursing Administration among 17 sub-competencies is social responsibility, ethical nursing practice, leadership and management, environmental safety for patients, expertise It was confirmed that it was focused on five competencies, including strengthening. In addition, leadership and management competencies consist of three competencies in the framework of ICN professional nursing competency: environmental safety competency for patients, cooperation competency between health and medical professions, and delegation and supervision competency. It was confirmed that the leadership and management competencies shown were largely biased towards environmental safety competencies for patients.
