국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 학문목적 학습자를 위한 자료 활용 글쓰기 전략의 원리와 목표를 고찰하고 이를 바탕으로 구체적인 단원을 구성하는 데 있다. 학문목적 학습자는 대학(원) 전공에서 요구하는 학술 글쓰기를 수행해야 한다. 그러나 이들의 한국어 능력은 한국어능력시험 3급에 준하는 실력자들을 포함하고 있어 보고서는 고사하고 한국어로 된 전공 서적을 읽어내는 것도 어렵다. 전공 수업을 듣기 위한 한국어 능력을 향상시키고 수업에 필요한 과제를 수행하기 위해서는 부족한 한국어 글쓰기 능력을 보완할 수 있는 전략이 필요하다. 이에 단원 구성에 직접 활용할 수 있는 다양한 자료를 제시하고, 제시된 자료를 선별하여 필요한 자료를 활용하는 방법을 익힐 수 있도록 한다. 또한 학술 글쓰기에 필요한 글쓰기 방법을 중심으로 자료를 활용하여 단락을 구성하고 단락을 연결하여 한 편의 글을 완성할 수 있도록 구성하였고 학술 글쓰기에서 필요한 좋은 자료를 식별할 수 있는 능력을 함양하는 데 목적을 두고 있다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study are to examine the principles and goals of source-based writing strategies for learners with academic purposes and propose a direction to develop specific teaching materials based on the findings. Learners with academic purposes are asked to do academic writing required from their colleges or graduate schools. Some of them have Korean skills in Grade 3 of Test of Proficiency in Korean, which means that they have a difficult time reading books of their majors in Korean let along writing a report in Korean. They need a strategy to supplement their lack of writing skills in Korean to improve their Korean abilities to take a course in their majors and perform a task required in their class. This study thus developed a teaching material for them to learn how to do writing for explanation, argument, and contest on emotional writing based on a source. This teaching material was organized to help learners complete a text by writing paragraphs based on sources according to the writing methods needed for academic writing and connecting the paragraphs, as well as improve their abilities to identify good sources needed in academic writing.
