국문 초록

이 연구는 유튜브를 활용한 교양농업교육의 가능성을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 유튜브의 특징과 교육적 활용 가능성을 살펴보았으며 이를 바탕으로 교양농업교육에서 활용 가능한 채널을 분석하고, 유튜브를 활용한 수업 모델을 제시하였다. 유튜브는 학생들이 영상안에 있는 사진, 그림, 음향 등을 통해 정보를 복합적으로 접하게 함으로써 그 이해를 돕고, 실내와 실외에서 장소에 구애받지 않고 학습이 이루어질 수 있게 해준다. 또한, 학습자가 자신의 생각과 의견을 적극적으로 표현하여 능동적으로 수업에 참여할 수 있도록 해주며, 일방적인 지식의 수용자가 아닌 지식의 생산자로서 학습자간에 정보를 공유하며 배움이 일어날 수 있게 해준다. 교양농업교육에서는 학생들이 작물의 종류와 특징을 배우고, 텃밭과 화단에서 작물 재배를 경험할 때 자신의 화초를 선정하고 재배방법을 익히는데 유튜브를 활용할 수 있다. 또한, 자신의 작물을 재배하는 가운데 문제가 발생하였을 때 문제점을 진단하고, 해결방법을 찾는데 도움이 될 수 있으며 스스로 작물을 지속적으로 재배할 수 있는 역량을 함양할 수 있게 해준다. 유튜브는 이제까지 교사중심의 교양농업교육의 한계에서 벗어나 학생중심의 수업이 가능하게 해주며, 학생이 스스로 지식을 구성하는 구성주의 학습의 가능성을 보여주고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the possibility of general agricultural education using YouTube. We investigated the characteristics of YouTube and its potential for educational use, explored channels that can be used in general agricultural education, and suggested a teaching model using YouTube. YouTube helps students understand by searching for complex information with pictures, pictures, sounds, etc. through video, and learning can be done regardless of the place, indoors and outdoors. In addition, it enables learners to actively participate in teaching and learning by expressing their thoughts and opinions, and sharing information among learners as producers of knowledge. In general agricultural education, students can use YouTube to learn the types and characteristics of crops, select their own flowers and learn how to grow them when growing crops in gardens and flower beds. In addition, it can help diagnose problems and find solutions when problems occur while growing your own crops, and help you develop the ability to grow your own crops continuously. YouTube has been able to make students-centered classes out of the limits of teacher-oriented general agricultural education, and shows the possibility of constructivist learning in which students construct their own knowledge.
