간호대학생의 감성지능이 비판적 사고성향에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 감성지능과 비판적 사고성향의 관계에서 자기-성찰 및 통찰력의 매개효과를 확인하여 비판적 사고성향을 향상시키기 간호중재 프로그램을 마련하기 위함이다. 본 연구는 서술적 조사연구로서 자료수집은 B시와 G시 소재 3개 대학의 간호학과에 재학 중인 3, 4학년 학생 203명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 수집하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 25.0 프로그램으로 t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé 검정, Pearson 상관 계수 및 위계적 회귀 분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 감성지능(r=.542, p<.001), 자기-성찰 및 통찰력(r=.527, p<.001)은 비판적 사고성향과 양의 상관관계가 있었고, 감성지능은 자기-성찰 및 통찰력(β=.583, p<.001)과 비판적 사고성향에 유의한 영향(β=.522, p<.001)을 미쳤으며, 감성지능과 비판적 사고성향의 관계에서 자기-성찰 및 통찰력은 부분매개효과(β=.311, p<.001)가 있는 것으로 확인되었다(sobel test: Z=3.96, p<.001). 결론적으로 간호대학생들의 비판적 사고성향을 향상시키기 위해 간호중재 프로그램 개발 시감성지능과 자기-성찰 및 통찰력에 초점을 맟주어야 하며 또한 자기-성찰 및 통찰력을 전략적 사용이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study was performed to examine the mediating effect of Self Reflection and Insight in the Relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Critical thinking disposition in order to nursing intervention to improve the Critical thinking disposition.This research was a cross-sectional survey design. Participants were 203 students of three different nursing college which are located in B and G cities. Data were collected by self-report questionnaires, including general characteristics, emotional intelligence, Self Reflection and Insight and Critical thinking disposition. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, independent t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficients and hierachical regression using the SPSS 25.0 program. There were significant correlations among three variables, emotional intelligence, Self Reflection and Insight and Critical thinking disposition. Self Reflection and Insight partly mediated the effect of emotional intelligence on Critical thinking disposition. The findings suggest nursing intervention programs focusing on increasing of emotional intelligence, Self Reflection and Insight are highly recommended to improve Critical thinking disposition in nursing students.
