국문 초록

본 연구는 오르프 음악치료 프로그램이 자폐범주성장애 청소년의 문제행동 및 사회적 상호작용에 미치는 효과와 그들의 문제행동과 사회적 상호작용이 치료회기를 거듭할수록 어떻게 변하는 지에 대한 어머니와 교사의 인식을 조사한 것이다. 이 연구는 연구 참여자를 선정한 2017년 11월 1일에서 2018년 1월 25일 사이에 수행되었고, 대상자 선정기준에 부합되는 B시 일반중학교 특수학급에 재학 중인 5명의 14∼16세의 자폐범주성장애 청소년이 연구에 참여하였다. 음악치료 프로그램은 매주 2회기씩 총 10회가 제공되었다. 자료 분석은 비모수통계분석으로 처리되었다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 오르프 음악치료 프로그램은 자폐범주성장애 청소년의 문제행동과 사회적 상호작용에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 어머니와 교사 간의 아동의 변화에 대한 인식의 차이는 연구의 사전단계에서 발견되었고, 사후단계에서는 나타나지 않았다. 후속연구에 대한 제언과 시사점도 논의되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the Orff Music Therapy program on the challenging behaviors and social interaction skills of adolescents with autism spectrum disorders(ASD) and to investigate how mothers and teachers perceive the condition of the participants as the Orff Music Therapy program was implemented. The study was implemented from Nov. 1st, 2017 when recruiting began to Jan. 25, 2018 when therapy session ended. Participants who met the diagnostic criteria and enrolled in a special education classroom at a middle school in the city of B were recruited for the study. A total of 5 male adolescents ages 14 to 16 with ASD participated in the Orff Music Therapy program twice a week, for a total of 10 sessions. Nonparametic statistical analysis was used to analyze the data. The results of this study are as follows. First, the music therapy program was effective on both challenging behaviors and social interaction skills of the participants. Second, statistically significant differences in the mothers and teachers ratings on child’s challenging behaviors and social interaction skills of ASD were found during the pretest. However, rating differences between the mothers and teachers on the condition of the child were reduced by the final stage of the study. Some implications regarding future study were discussed.
